I hope this helps someone. It took me little less than one hour to make it, and it won't cost too much. Worth trying.

After cutting, you should end up to something like this. Mine is not that bad looking in live, picture makes it look rougher than it is. The next step might be the hardest thing. Cover the sides of that paint booth with white paper, it must be correct sized. Then find correct size poster, and that will be your "Floor" and the back wall. It needs to be one piece, of course, otherwise there will be disturbing seams on it. Then find some transparent paper, and tape the holes "closed". Here is the finished Photo Booth in action! Those lights are someones that I found from the Garage. Now you'll have one light on the top, and two on the sides. There will be no too noticeable shadows or anything. Models look quite good in here, and it's easier to camera to focus on the object, when there's no unnecessary stuff in the back.

I tried to search, but I didn't find this kind of Photo Booth-thread. I hope this helps someone who has issues with taking good photos. So I made a Photo Booth, that's easy and takes only a little time. And it's very cheap too. What You need, is a cardboard box, some white paper, big white poster or some other big (white) paper or cardboard and Transparent paper. Oh and of course three lights. Tools you'll need: -Tapes, strong tape and then invisible (Non colored) tape. -Scissors -A Ruler. -A Knife. -Black Sharpie. And here is the box: Start by Cutting one end of the box open. Then you'll need to cut holes to the box, otherwise it will be too dark. Draw the lines where to cut with black sharpie and ruler. ...And then just cut.

I agree with what Nick said. This forum has excellent sub-categories and there are very nice people and so on. I really like the place. I can understand, that bikes could have own section, just like Drag Racing Models or NASCARS. Personally, even if I like to see all kinds of models, I don't visit this category very often. Maybe it's just because I don't have enough time or something. But every subject can't have own category, and since it's Model CAR forum, I think bikes fit well under this category, too.

That's excellent looking Camaro. Just what I've been planning to my first 1:1 car. It could pass real car, if photographed on asphalt road or something like that. I can't believe how someone can make that nice paint jobs, too! I've been polishing my '57 Chrysler today for long time, and it still looks like matte finish if compared to this one.

Not in Drag Racing ! Penalties are really rare there, and there are no pit stops during the 1/4 mile track. But you're right, it's the problem in many other motorsports, that's why I actually don't seem to follow them anymore. I used to watch Rally, but nowadays it's very boring, because there's only Ford and Citroen. Only way I like Rally is Finnish Historic Rallys and F-Cup. F-Cup is mostly MK2 Escorts, but it's nice to follow when there are lots of powerful rear wheel drive cars. Anyway, I watched a bit of that Formula race too, those few highlights that were shown here in Finland for free channel. If you pay, you can get a channel where is possible to watch the whole race, but I'm not that interested on it. F1 is funniest in Monaco and if it rains.

Yeah, excellent build, as always! Your work inspires me every time, these builds are just so clean and very nicely done-subjects are interesting too. Very nice job with those red stripes, and overall clean build. From here the Alclad brass looks good too.

Excellent progress, everyone! These last two weeks seems to be the most active time in this topic. I needed to show you that I'm still trying to make this finished for the start of this year's Rally. Chassis is almost in the same condition as it was before that little crash, and started polishing the body too. The top and trunk lid are polished, I'm quite happy about them. I will polish the sides tomorrow.

1-8 scale 69 camaro pro mod (mike hill's car)
W-409 replied to comp1839's topic in WIP: Drag Racing Models
On this season's first Finnish Championchip Drag Race Event one Super Pro Street category car went out to sand because chutes got tangled to wheelie bars on that 300 km/h speed, the driver started to slow down with cars brakes, but it spinned around (on four wheels all the time) and stopped to the sand. About the '37 (?) Chevy- looks fantastic! That will be cool ride! About the '69 Chevy- Can't wait to see more! -
Thanx, Scott! Let's try again. Last time my stupid computer decided to shut down while posting this thing. So I've done a little work with the chassis, I cut the driveshaft tunnel area open, so I can install the tunnel when engine and rear axle are mocked up, and I can see how much it needs clearance. And before I can mock those up, I have to make rear axle wider, so I can test fit it with the body and rear tires, so I know what the ride height will be. Then I have to make that rear axle crossover part for the frame, and after that I can finally mock up rear axle and engine. Tricky, Huh? Also started the work with bondo! Tons of sanding and more bondo left, but here's what it looks right now:

The Snot Rod 29' 12/22
W-409 replied to dimebolt's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Wow, just saw this one.... Excellent job with it so far, Corey! Those fenders look really good, I'd like to see how those little bits of burned rubber would fly from rear tires when doing a burnout! Nice color too! This inspires me to get going with my '29 Ford Pickup Gasser again. -
Two Peterbilt 379 in Lego 1:13
W-409 replied to Bricksonwheels's topic in Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
WOW, those are amazing Trucks! Can't believe something that nice can be built from Legos. Excellent, especially the engine looks fantastic. You must have huge amount of Lego parts. I too built Legos when I was few years younger. I built a Gasser what was trying to be '62 T-Bird and then I built a bunch of Drag Racing Lego cars with those Lego engines, they were fun. We tried to figure out with my friend, how to make them fast as possible, but still they had to look like cars. Your builds are fantastic. -
WOW, That's excellent! Miss Deal chassis is very good basis, I've seen it being used on MANY '50's and '60's cars. I've built a '59 Simca with Miss Deal chassis, it's excellent basis and I'm so glad when they're reissuing that kit. I like your rusting, it looks very realistic and nicely done all in all. Did you adjust the wheelbase to get it right?

Revell 427 Cobra reissue - anyone gotten one?
W-409 replied to GirchyGirchy's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
So is this kit based on this Monogram kit? If it is, the kit is really great. And if it is based on that kit, I hope there's the convertible top included. Wheels are very nice in that kit, it turns out really nice build. Here's my effort, not the best in the world, but I'm happy with it. -
Engine bay needs older powerplant, modern engines don't fit into these classics, IMO. You have nice wheels in it too, and it looks excellent otherwise, so I wouldn't install there too modern engine, either. Why not to put basic SBC or BBC with Victor Jr. Intake manifold and some other little speed parts. Much nicer and more interesting, I would say. But as I said, otherwise it looks excellent, keep it going!

Wow, that's nice and different. I like it. Nice job with the decals. Really like the stance too, nice work! Rare subject too, thanks for sharing.

Thanx for the tip! Just what I need, since I don't like to afford to those Pre Wired distributors. I would need them maybe more than 10 in one year, man that would take my all modeling budget! Now I use Scale Dreams wire, but it's not very easy to get, I mean that the posting costs.... Needs to look if I can find that kind of wire somewhere. Thanks!

Thanks for the great suggestion, Rob! I guess I'm not going to end it completely, but maybe little shortening should work. Gotta try and see how it looks. Thanks! The engine might be that Wedge too, since plastic color is quite close and instructions look quite same too. Nothing beats Cubic Inches, so always better when it's a Big Block. And Thanks! Thanks, Corey, too ! It has been on li'l hold now, since I have a bunch of exams in the school now. Once I get them cleared, I'll continue this one.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing. Dont know about the little details, though, turn signals etc.

Kurt Wilson`s: 23 T` Bucket new project 10/9/12
W-409 replied to John Teresi's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Even if there are many Very talented builders on this forum, I'm huge fan of John's work. Harry said it perfectly. Excellent paint job and nice details in every build you do. That's excellent, just like Juha Airio's builds. Everyone knows that both (John & Juha) build fantastic model cars, but every time I see them, I'm really amazed. I guess I should pick up my jaw from the floor again. -
