  1. Another Beautiful Ramchargers car! Nice paint job and I really like the body style of this one, one of the best Mopars ever made. I'd like to see more pictures of this one, especially from the front end.
  2. Very Nice! These Ramchargers Cars are very cool looking and I really like this body style too. Nice paint job too and decals fit very nicely. Overall finish is excellent.
  3. I have to agree. Turbine Car is really great kit and builds parts fit is very nice, too. Same thing with '72 Torino Oval Track Racer, parts are nice and there are pretty much of them, in chassis too! How about those Funny Car kits, that Jo-Han has produced, what's the quality of them?
  4. Looks excellent as always, Roger. I like the subject alot and your paint job is turning out awesome. Engine detailing looks great, too and I wouldn't be worried about little differences to the 1:1 car, it's very few people who will notice them anyway.
  5. Lookin' Good as always! I like the look of this Ford T alot, color is nice and I really dig those flames. Nice job as always, Ray!
  6. This is absolutely Fantastic Cuda Pro Street! I really like the look of this car without much chrome or anything else, Black Is Black. Excellent paint job and great detailing all over. I can't say any negative words about this one, you did incredible job with this one.
  7. Looks very good in color! The interior is coming along very nicely too. The original MonkeesMobile is not very interesting to me, but this shows that it can be converted to very interesting build. Maybe I should start cutting mine again.
  8. Sorry about the little delay, I had problems with the internet connection. Anyway, More Outlaw cars: One of my favorites: Kenneth Wikberg's Dodge Dart with Pro Charger. I guess the best ET is around 7,9 seconds. Ari Nikko's Opel Omega Wagon with Pro Charger. Best ET is around 7,7 if I remember correctly. Hannu Kalliomäki's Camaro. This went easily 7,5 second times, but nowadays Kalliomäki drives Super Pro Street (Faster than Outlaw.) . Jari Sokura's '57 Chevy. It went 7,7's. Then my favorite: Tero Kirsilä's '69 Barracuda with Keith Black Hemi and Blower. This one is Loud. 7,9 is the best ET.
  9. Yeah, the subjects are "The Thing" why I'd like to see Jo-Han kits reissued, under Jo-Han name or under any other name. Those AMC kits are very cool and they had very much cool Drag Car kits, and kits from cars that were never produced by anyone else. And Jo-Han bodies are good too. I have currently 4 Jo-Han kits on my bench and actually I have one Jo-Han Turbine Car Glue Bomb too. I'm trying to buy those Jo-Hans every time I see them with decent price.
  10. Hey John, is it 1:1 Scale?! That's Mind Blowing! Your attention to small details is perfect, and your Alclad work is excellent. Also those different shades of metals, are very good looking, just like they are in 1:1 car. Those small things make the model look much better, and your engine really looks fantastic.
  11. This is excellent build overall, as your builds always are. Great scratch-building too. I really like your paint job and overall finish-excellent Truck!
  12. Wow that's very cool! You did excellent job in little time with this Oldsmobile. It is great to see one already finished. This just makes me to get mine faster and faster. Very nice paint job and good color. Very nice and smooth job with the Bare Metal Foil too. Nice details and everything, very nice build.
  13. Little OffTopic, but needs to ask: Have you tried how it runs on Drag Strip? Those are very popular Drag Cars, so I will pick one up for sure.
  14. Thanks Roger and Marcus! I really like Wheelstands too. Looking forward to your pics, Marcus. They're always nice to see, there are interesting cars running in Hockenheim that I can't see in Finland. And yeah, the track was bad this year, I really hope (and guess) that it's better next year. Next I'm going to introduce another car category: Outlaw! Outlaw is basically Heads Up group, but there is a Safety Index of 7,50 and you can't go faster than that. Car can be with 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engines and they can be Blower Powered, with a Single turbo, Twin Turbo or without any blowers or turbos. NOS is allowed also. You can run with regular fuel, ethanol or methanol, but if you have blown car, you can't run with methanol. These have to be door cars and scoop can't be higher than the roof . Some examples: Timo Mäkelä's AMC Javelin with 428 Cid. engine without blower of turbos. I'm not sure if there's NOS or not. Best ET around 8,0. Joakim Viklund's Mustang with Giant engine, it was over 800 Cid. No blower or turbo, and some NOS if I remember correctly. Best ET 7,4 but that's too fast in Outlaw. Then Kalle Mannerkoski's Plymouth Valiant. No idea about the engine size, but it has some NOS and best ET is 7,6 I guess. Pasi Ahonen's Chevy Camaro. Best ET 7,5. Risto Virtala's BMW with 2,2 liters Turbocharged 4 cylinder engine. Best ET is 7,4 I guess?
  15. Happy to be here. Some great builds in this thread, keep 'em coming! I will post pictures of the builds I'll be building. The First one I'll post here is '32 Ford Bonneville Racer. I'm building it from glue bomb Ford and it will have Flathead V8. It's chopped, sectioned and channeled so far, that tracknose is from Revell '29 Ford Pickup kit. It is stalled because of interior, which needs to be sectioned too. I was also thinking of shortening the nose a bit. Now it looks like Freight Train to me.
  16. And that's not all, I have few boxes more, Jo-Hans and other rare kits. You asked that do they get boxed again every night, no. The ones I'm working, can stay on the bench over night as well. Usually there is one Main project and another one as back burner, which is built while another one dries. Not much progress to show yet. I've done lot of sanding to the engine block and tomorrow I managed to get it painted. It's Gloss Black, as kit instructions say. I don't know about real car's engine color. Engine is so full of stuff in pictures that I can't see the engine block surely, but I guess it's black.
  17. Thanx Guys! Nah, there are "only" 50 or 60 projects in different stages. They're waiting for repaint, putty, parts or something else. And Yeah, I have a job.... Kind of. I'm at High School. It gives more time to build than regular job, I guess but it takes too much modeling time anyway. The room is huge problem nowadays : Underside of my Bed. You can see that blue box behind of those model boxes, there are some more models...
  18. Little Update to my Cuda project. Some bodywork, the seams of those body panels (Rocker Panels???) are smoothed with putty. Same thing with the scoop. I'm going to shoot some primer on it today and see how it looks-hopefully it will be ready for paint.
  19. Thanks, Rick. Here's some more. I was working with the valve covers for my Mustang. They're not completely accurate, but good enough I think. They are painted Revell Light Blue (Number 50), then there's somekind of metal plate or something in real car. That is made from BMF and Ford Motorsport decals are installed last. One problem with the engine is blower. I know that Shelby Mustang kit has one, but honestly I'm not interested in buying one just because of the Blower.
  20. Wow, that paintjob looks much better without clear than my paint jobs with clear! Fantastic work, Tyrone. I really like about the color too and the idea of not to use any paint scheme on this one.
  21. Hey Thanks Chris! Really Appreciated ! I need to get another Miss Deal Studebaker and do something same styled. But from what, that's good question. Maybe '56 Studebaker Commander.
  22. Thanks for the link, Michael! That can be used as reference as well. The build is waiting in a box for a while now, since I'm finishing Pro Stock Cuda for Model Car Show here in Finland. But while it's drying, I try to build something. I hope to have an update soon, but don't hold your breath.
  23. Thanks, Darryl! It really means alot when coming such talented builder as you.
  24. Oh, but actually there is a radiator. But it's not in typical place, don't know how nicely it would work there, but it's there: It's Not painted yet in this picture. And Thanks for the comment George!
  25. Well that's one Beautiful Nova-build! I like the color on it and paint job looks very good too. Nice stance and everything, excellent build.
