  1. Nice work again, John. Interesting, never seen Mid Engine Corvette before, can't wait to see some color on it. Engine looks really good and even if I'm not a fan of these new cars, this one is really great project.
  2. Absolutely second that one! Wagon would be really nice to see and build. I also need to get this Ranchero, Hudsons, '48 Ford Coupe, and many many other kits, great to see so much new kits coming.
  3. Didn't find dashboard, so I built it from styrene. It's not perfect, but it could very well be homemade part. I drilled three holes there for cauges, but the owner hasn't got time to install them. So there are only those holes. Installed the windshield too and now it's starting to look like car, isn't it? Next I need to scratchbuilt that front axle system, stay tuned.
  4. Interior is finished. Steering column is painted matt black and that turn signal switch (what is the name of it?) and column shifter are painted silver. The knobs are black. That steering column and steering wheel also were really easy to put on their places, and they look quite good. Next I'm moving on to the body, inside it and hood needs to be painted also, but today it has been raining all day and it is not going to stop, until tomorrow, I think...
  5. Those headers are looking amazing! Really nice work with them, those are 1000 times better than the original ones. Overall really nice work, I can't wait to see more of this build.
  6. You did very nice job with this one. The kit seems to be pretty simple, that chassis plate isn't so well detailed as in many of the new kits? But paintjob looks really good, and engine detailing is nice. Tires and wheels look very realistic, there's nothing wrong with it, nice model.
  7. Thanks both! I've built that Nomad version too, need to say that these kits are fun to build. I built my Nomad Gasser style, and it turned out Ok, I think. I'll be working with this one today, stay tuned for an update.
  8. WHAT!? Never seen a new body in that bad condition. That is too hard to fix, I think. Maybe resin body should be good choice, as mentioned.
  9. Here is finally a picture of that battery cable. The job was pretty easy to do, and it looks way better like that. Thanks for the suggestion! Picture isn't the best one, camera had hard time taking one picture, even this good.
  10. Just a little update. I painted the inner fenders gloss black. Also steering wheel is now ready to assembly. Next step is foiling the body and painting the hood. Then few little parts on their places, and body/interior/chassis together.
  11. WOW, this one is real great model! I like the weathering on it, just perfect. It looks like it has been last 30 years in somekind of barn. Excellent job on it, really great end result.
  12. No one has voted Real! I think, it's a model too, it just don't look real.
  13. Great to hear that some other builders think that way too! I don't like those big ugly wheels too, they are awfull. Great project, keep us posting. I've built this kit also, first thing, I did, I sold those big wheels away.
  14. Truly amazing work! That engine looks super! I'm speechless.
  15. Thanks for the comments fellas! The agressive look is my favorite thing on '70 Super Bee. It's just great looking frontend. Jim, your idea sounds really good, I'll be watching your build really seriously. I need to get my Mercury back to the bench now, but I'm having bit hurry days to finish some models to the show.
  16. Nice to see Front Engine Dragster. This one looks real good. Engine detailing is really nice, and I like that driver's "cabin". Injector stacks are looking very realistic. One little minus comes from those front wheels, but I know that they are really tricky to make look good. I have to use them on my Dragsters also, 'cause I have no money to buy photo etch parts.
  17. Hello and welcome to the forum! And cheers from Finland! Your Nova looks amazing. Great to see these traditional Muscle Cars being built without modern engines or giant wheels. I like the paintjob, it's very shiny, and smooth too. Grille looks very realistic, you've done that black wash nicely. I also like the engine detailing alot. Really nice model with no too big mistakes. Your First model, Huh, I can't believe, really great work that I haven't got to that stage after 35-40 models built. Really amazing job with this one, keep coming...
  18. That last picture is truly amazing. Shows that there are no mistakes, and paintjob looks incredible! Color is very good too. Great conversion, but I'm not sure about that rear end. It should look bit more '49 Mercury, I think. But it's not bad, now it only looks like too flat, without Mercury's great body shapes. But that's just a little thing, really nice model indeed. Maybe bit smaller wheels should look good too, but those aren't too bad.
  19. Nice to see Chevrolet Vega here. I like the overall look, the paintjob is really good, and decals seems to be nicely on their places. Nothing wrong with this model. How about some engine pictures?
  20. Here is a link to Finnish Car Modelers Association forum. That is finnish bike, Jopo from the seventies. http://fcma.fi/FCMAB....php?f=6&t=7312 (In Finnish...) Really great job as always.
  21. LONG LIVE RUST, as someone likes to say. Nicely weathered Pickup. Engine looks very good too, from what I can see. Great job with it, it's pretty hard to make car look rusty, but also realistic.
  22. Nice job with it. It's impossible to say constructive criticism about it. Color choice is very good, and paintjob is nice. I like those re-chromed bumbers, you did very good job with them. This car is very small, in 1:1 scale too. Nice job.
  23. This is incredible!!! I've enjoyed following this one, and now at the end of this project, I can say that it's truly amazing. There are no any mistakes, and everything is done very nicely. It's just so realistic, that I can't say anything else, very nice job with it, and THANKS for sharing!
  24. Very nicely built Tribute! That is a great idea to build this as a Mopar. Paintjob looks good, and decals are fitting nicely. I like the detailing of it. Great to see this completed, you did good job with it..
  25. This is really great looking build! I like the color on it, and paintjob is very nice. I like the engine too, but maybe I'd change those valve covers. They have bit too much race look for this style Hot Rod, I think... But it's of course the best how builder likes it. But very nice Hot Rod all over, keep these great models coming.
