I've been trying to replicate a car in the junkyard, and I used this style to make those "dents"... Works fine, and it's simple and easy! I did also a hood from aluminium, but that's just aluminium, there's no plastic used...

Engine is now glued to subframe (or what it is called...), which is painted gloss black, and springs are silver... Next I'm going to paint the inner fenders, and other engine bay parts, so I can glue them to that frame and then it's ready for installing to chassis. Those seperate inner fenders, firewall etc. make engine bay detailing lots of easier, than it would be of those parts should be molded to body...

Thanks, Michael for the information! This kit sounds like a good basis for a great model... Some modifications needs to be done, but anyway. Your project looks good!

Hey, Gary, I can't see the pics. But when I copy the link without those image codes, and paste it to a new tab, then I can see that your project looks amazing! The 1:1 car is great too, you can't go wrong with this subject. EDIT: Now I can see your pics, but they didn't work at the morning .

Great project you got going! Great to see one AMC Pacer on the bench, and the style that you are building it is great. And yes, bit lower stance would look good on this. I'm watching this project very surely, it's just great subject. Keep going.

Oh, that looks cool! The Two Much kit has a great chassis, but it's maybe bit too long for one engine, so I'll use them both. Otherwise only one engine would look good, but I don't want to shorten the frame. Your build is very nice, as always!

Hey, welcome on the forum! Great looking Bel Air! That rear fender looks great and flip nose works fine with this one. I would leave that fender without the "lip", it looks just amazing right now. It's going to be really cool build!

Great looking project. How is the quality of this kit? Body isn't too great, is this body worse than AMT's? Chassis... Has it seperate axles, exhaust systems etc. Or how about the interior. I'm just thinking about if this chassis is great, it would be nice to put AMT body and Revell chassis together...

Got the body and chassis painted. Both are now dark red. I like the color. It's straight from spray can, maybe good clearcoat and polishing will make it look good... I also painted some other chassis parts, but there's nothing special to show, yet. I'm trying to continue it soon, this may be finished pretty fast... There's not much orange peel...

Your car looks good! Great Drag Racer. Model is looking good too, I like what you did for the roof. Going to be real nice build. What's the best ET with that Comet? Anyway, interesting project you got going, keep it up.

Thanks for the comment! I think, that it's great to watch your projects too across the Atlantic. I haven't looked about Aftermarket slicks, but they would be maybe a good idea. But maybe I sand those, and make them look as good as I can, and then think about, if I need new ones, or can I live with those.

That's true  ! Brett, thanks for the information, now I can glue them together without being worried about the final assembly. Your Dragster looks very good too, love the flames on it.

WOW, amazing bodywork you've done. Thinking just, that it's started from original '63 Corvette. Then great castings, now you have lots of bodies, which means that we will see lots of '63 Corvette Pro Mods. Amazing job, can't wait to see more of your work.

If you don't die on the accident, then you die inside that Vanbulance... Looking good. Paintjob is great and it's very clean build all around. Great job on this, keep these coming..

This is going to be great! Body looks very good, paintjob is amazing. Very shiny, and smoooth.... BMF looks good too. Engine detailing is also great. I'm huge fan of X-Frame Chevys, and this looks good. I must also built one '64 Impala, it would be original too.

Like it, keep going! This is truly something different, I haven't seen '34 Ford Woodie Wagon yet, which is built like this. Like the idea, and how it looks now. Great job with the wood, I'm watching this one.

It's slowly getting ready for paint, but before painting, I did one very important thing. I built "frame" or what that thing is called for rear window. I'll make it from acetate and now it will be lots of easier to install, and it will look lots of better. I glued styrene strips to the body, they will tell, where the window goes, and then some styrene on it, so the window can't come off. Hope it works, I've seen better builders making this one, and they have done it correctly, but don't know, where this ends....

Thanks! I was thinking about Brake Master Cylinder too, but I wasn't sure about it. Now I know, where to install brake lines.

Got the engine primered. It's now quite good and there are no big mistakes. I will paint it soon, maybe tomorrow. Then I must strip the paint off from some smaller parts too, before they are ready for assembling, because there is quite much paint in some places... -
Just a little progress with it. Entire frame is now black, there are no white spots anymore. Also painted that little part silver.... What part is it? (Picture 2). Glued rear slicks together, and now all they need is some sanding to look realistic. Must start those engines too.
-
Some progress has been made, not too great, but I'm still making the progress. Sanded the putties smooth from inside the body parts, and floor. Now ready for primering them from this side, and then gluing those parts together should make some more sanding and filling, etc... Also engine block needed some putty, next step is sanding it smooth, and then some paint on it. Also the frame needs to be glued together.

Looking good, Brett! I like seeing Corvette racecars. This looks cool, and it's now really smooth. Can't wait to see some color on it. Keep coming, interesting project, and something completely different.

Thanks. Need to get one bottle of it, and try what I can do with it.
