After that Willys, I built '53 Studebaker FC, the "Miss Deal Funny Car"... That is Revell kit. It came out quite good BUT I tried flake painting and that is looking real bad. Otherwise this car looks pretty good, I added spark plug wires and painted some details also. This model was fun to build, and that kit is great. I have one glue bomb Stude waiting for builder on the stash... That will be loking better. This kit is really worth buying and building too. I'll post more soon. I think, that I post all of my models to this topic, the new ones too, so you all can see the improve of my bulding skills.
  2. Nice job with the Dart. I haven't seen this kit built like street car, but with that Hemi engine. It looks great, detailing is also very nice. I love the chassis and paintjob looks good too. I like the Bumble-B stripe and that color. Nice jb with it, I must get building my '70 SuperBee...
  3. AMAZING build! I like this body and that color is great. I like the stance too. Paintjob looks smooth and very glossy. Wheels and tires are simply perfect to this one. Simply outstanding build. This reminds me of this finnish Custom Lincoln.
  4. Nice ProStreet Camaro! I like the stance of it and that color fits nicely to the body. I like that paintjob too, it looks just great. Engine is nice and detailing looks superb, as always and these are great to watch... You must have lots of non- used '55 and '57 Chevy Pro Sportsman bodies?

Thanks, Skip! You have seen this one before, I've posted it, but few years ago, maybe so here it is again. '41 Willys Gasser is built after '64 Impala. It's looking pretty good, painted with spray can and few coats of clear on it. I added spark plug wires to engine and there are some details painted also. I left the grille off and some other parts too... This has been in few model contests, and I've won one "Racing- Best Junior" prize with it. EDIT: Here is the picture of Willys with the prize...
  6. WOW, that's amazing! I love that look. Color seems to be just perfect, and paintjob is awesome. Chop Top and all other modifications, you have done are made really nicely. Wheels and tires are looking good, so is the interior. This built is simply outstanding, that wooden bed looks just like 1:1! B)

Thanx, Floyd! After '66 Olds, I built '64 Impala Mild Custom. It has 327"SBC. I put spark plug wires to that engine. Interior is upholstered, it wasn't too easy job to do (many years ago), but it's looking pretty good. I had problems with paint, I painted it with... Is that turqoise, but paintjob wasn't good so I painted other coat of that color. Then it looked okay, but after clear, paintjob looked like satin. The top and hood are glossy, but other body is satin. Hubcaps are from '56 Chevy, I think... It's Revell's Lowrider kit, that's great quality, really worth buying and building.
  8. That's nice Chevy! Color looks good on it, and paintjob looks good. I like that engine too, six cylinder engine is pretty rare thing. I like the hubcaps on it, you did a great job with this one. Cool, keep these coming.

From these, I have posted so far, it is the best one... But here comes one which is maybe better. And that Pickup is '55 . After Firebird, I built '66 Oldsmobile 442 W30. That's AMT's kit, which is good quality, but the generator won't fit under the hood... Otherwise it's great kit. There are no any plug wires etc. but I bought MCG photo etch- set for this one, and those little metal logos are lookin' good. It's painted by spray can and there is no clear on it. It's built like StreetMachine, I changed the manifold, carburetor and air cleaner, also rear tires are bit larger than the original ones.
  10. Thanx, Randy ! I like the stance too... Today I continued working with the engine. I found oil pan which fits well to that engine. It was chromed, but I painted it silver because chrome was looking bad. I painted cylinder heads too, and installed valve covers. But sometimes finding correct parts is anything but easy. Today, I was looking for timing chain cover and intake manifold. After TWO AND HALF HOURS of searching correct ones, I found them. The manifold looks like Torker II manifold. That was very popular "High Performance" manifold in the 80's... Also I tried test fitting this car on smooth table, and it looked good. I think, this will continue pretty soon...

Thank you, Cole! Now I have pics of my Corvette, it's built from MPC '57 Flip Nose Vette kit. That kit is bad quality, parts are quite bad and thay don't fit well. Engine is too small, it should be much bigger so it should look like real. Flip Nose in this kit didn't work... Well, here are pics for you, it's painted by spray can and no any big details added, because the kit was so bad... So this Corvette is built right after '69 Rambler American and before '78 Firebird. I'll post more of these today, when I get the pictures...
  12. Nice to see something different... This one looks good. Color combo is just perfect, and paintjob looks good too. I like that body, and engine detailing is very very great! That powerplant looks like how it is in 1:1 car. Nice job with the interior also, this one is great.
  13. Thank you, Janne! That thing is true, that the newspaper is not good, I think, I'll make a mockup number three in a smooth table. I think, I may have time for this build also, later today. Let's see if there comes an update or not.
  14. I glued the front axle system together, but there is still steering linkage missing... I must try to get that thing fit right. But I put those front spindles on their place and I found correct wheel backs for this one. They were quite hard to find, because the tires are quite large, I mean that wheels must be quite big, otherwise they don't fit. But correct ones are from Monogram '56 Chevrolet Bel Air kit. They are in pretty good shape... I did some test fitting. First time, the rear end wasn't high enough, but then I raised the rear end bit more, and now it looks pretty good. I'm happy that this test fit is made without tapeing the wheels and tires to axles, but of course those axles are needing lots of work. I think, the chassis work is now the hardest thing in this project, and it takes much time... And every time, I look at the body and think, that now it's ready for primering, there is some place which needs more filling, or sanding... That's annoeying, but I must make that thing smooth enough. Well, here are some pix for you all. Front axle glued to one piece. The First test fit, not good, rear end wasn't high enough... The Second test fit, now it looks better with higher rear end... Thanx for lookin'! EDIT: On the second test fit, rear tire seems to be bit badly on its place... I must fix that problem when I glue those things together. I must also look that those tires are in good position, so that they aren't too front or too rear...

Sorry of this loooong break of posting these pictures...After Rambler, I built '57 Flip Nose Vette, but I haven't pics of it yet, I post it later. After '57 Vette, I built '78 Pontiac Firebird. It's Revell kit. Quite good quality, but some fit issues, not too bad. Painted with spray can, engine is 455" but I did not put any wires, hoses etc for it, this kit is also built box stock. Well, maybe I added some decals but otherwise... Great kit, car is nice and there are lots of useful parts in the kit. I'm happy, how this one came out, it looks good to me like how it is right now.
  16. Bernard, that one looks cool! I like the color on it, and paintjob looks good. That body is great too, it's low enough. I like the stance and engine detail. That interior looks good too, and wheels and tires are nice. I like this one, keep these coming.
  17. I like these X-Frame Chevys. This one looks good, it's sometimes great to see one which is not a bubble top. In 1:1 bubbletops are better, but in scale that thing is different. Model looks good, paintjob is great and color fits well. I like the wheels and tires, engine is looking also great, detailing is simply amazing with this. Keep going, I'm enjoying of these, I have one glue bomb '62 Bel Air, I must take that one to my table, when I decide, what I'm going to build from it.
  18. Awesome Hot Rod. These are always very great to see. That engine looks nice, detailing is great. But that paintjob is simply terrific, color is also very nice. Wheels and tires are nice too... Nice Old School styled Hot Rod, it's true eye candy!
  19. Great job! That paint looks amazing, it's very smooth. Color fits nicely to this body too. Clean build, there are no any big mistakes, I like it. That engine is also great, so nice job that I hardly can believe that it is box stock... Amazing build !
  20. I'm moving bit forward with this one. I have worked with front suspension now. First I sawed lower a-arms off and some other things too. I did some test fitting, sawed more plastic off, sanding and removing material. Then I test fitted lower a- arms, and glued the cross member to them... Now it looks pretty good, needs some filling and sanding, but it fits quite good now. I also started making rear axle to fit correctly, but I have no pictures from it yet, I post that thing later. I painted the engine block by red and transmission by silver. With that front axle modifications, I used my '69 Corvette as a reference. I must continue this one soon, I haven't too much time to finish this one, about seven months time to finish it, it's going to be tough... My '69 Corvette front axle system, used for reference. And here you can see this '67 Corvette's frame, where the axle system would fit. It didn't fit so after some sawing it looked like this: Parts glued on their place. And engine and trans' painted.
  21. Also I've seen these, manufacturer was scaledreams or something like that, aftermarket... That's looking good, I have one set. "Will do 3-4 cars". I think, I can check the manufacturer tomorrow and post it here. That looks like a good stuff, it's thin and can be glued to the body quite easily, I think. But of course it is possible to make from masking tape etc. and it will look good. I must try my hand making those someday.
  22. Yeah, that's true that Race Hemis are aluminium or black, usually. I just like how the engine looks when it is orange, if it's fully aluminium or black, it looks like one mold piece, sometimes. I painted one Alcohol Funny Car's Hemi silver some time ago, that looks good too...
  23. Real nice Chevelle SS! I like how this car looks when it's original! That color looks amazing on it, and paintjob is nice too. Engine detailing looks good and wheels and tires are great! I like this one, one of your best builds.
  24. I've been thinking of modify this kit to '66 Bronco... And of course it would be Rock Crawler... Like that in the picture below. The project looks very interesting, keep it going. I'm watching this one surely! BTW, where you get those correct tires?
  25. I meant in that post that these valve covers aren't good looking for this style 426 Hemi... My enghlish isn't just so good so sometimes I write something what no one can understand or understands it wrongly...
