  1. I continued with this one... Underside of the body was bad, there were many ejector marks, big, round and quite deep. So I decided to put some putty there. I used Green Putty again. It needs some sanding and then I must finish the body from outside too. There are not so many places to sand anymore. I started the engine work too. I painted valve covers, cylinder heads and intake manifold with silver, now they are looking much more realistic. Oil pan needs some work and few other parts needs to be finished, then I can start wiring the engine.
  2. Of course we like! That Tatra would be very interesting to get in 1:25 scale... I have never seen even resin kits of it...
  3. Nice Gassers. Paintjobs are simply perfect and engines are looking good too. I think, Jantrix means that it would be better to post all these Gasser pictures to one thread, so you have one thread "Gassers" and in that thread, there are all of your Gasser models... But it's great this way too.
  4. Amazing Gassers! These are not slot cars? Paintjobs are looking great, especially that '55 Chevy is great, I love those flames on it. Tires are looking very realistic in every model and engine detailing seems to be awesome! I like these alot.
  5. Looks like that when you turn the key, that motor will start running! Detailing is SUPER! I like the engine, it's one of the most realistic "power plants" I've seen long time. That body looks good too, those textes on the doors are great and I love your choice of wheels and tires. Interior looks good too, I like RatRod seats and that skull shifter. Also that green on the frame and wheels looks great, dash is not bad too.
  6. It looks like I have to buy this kit too... Nice Pickup, I like the bodylines of this one. Red paint fits nicely to that body and paintjob is simply amazing. Those stripes are great too. I'm not sure about those wheels, I think, they don't fit perfectly, but they are not the ugliest ones. Exellent build.
  7. Yes, Caddy Sumbreros are the best choice. Maybe Chrome Reverse wheels would look great too, but those are nice also...
  8. I'll get back to this one tomorrow, I think. I must paint those chrome parts silver. Then I can continue building the engine, body needs still lots of work etc... Stay tuned for the update, coming on later this week....!
  9. This one looks great! I like the color very much. Paintjob looks also great and those decals are nice too. I like that detailing also, it is simply great! SuperComp altereds are something very rarely seen in smaller scale... Thanks for sharing!
  10. Thank you for the tips, dwc43! I worked with that turbocharger now, first I painted part of it because it is inpossible when that turbo is glued to its place. Well, after painting, I put some Green Putty to the seam and then some sanding. I glued few parts to the engine and it looks pretty good now. It needs some detail painting before assembling rest of parts... This is coming along extremely fast!
  11. Not a big update, but I did some test fitting on this. Body, chassis and engine are fitting nicely together. Now I think, I'm going to add dipstick to that engine, maybe some other things too... But now Hemi Dart is moved to the garage, and it's waiting for builder.
  12. Few more photos, thanx for looking!
  13. Hello, this one is my second model truck so far. It's bought from Daytona Beach, Florida. The kit looks pretty good and there are lots of parts. As usual, I started from the engine. First I removed one wire/ hose or whatever is it. That was molded to the engine block. Then I glued the block halves together and I sanded the seam smooth. Some painting, Revell Enamel paint with a brush and then some detail painting. I also made new wire/hose etc. to the same place, where I removed the original one. It just looks better. Well, progress isn't too fast, but lets have a see when comes the next update. Here you can see pictures about what is in the box... http://s1038.photobucket.com/albums/a463/VintageDragRace/Kenworth%20W900/

    68 Hemi Dart

That's really nice Dart! I like the decals of it, they are fitting very nicely. I think, the color looks good too, and that matt black hood is nice. Valve covers on the Hemi are great, and detailing is nice. For the carbs, I'd like to paint those holes black... (don't know their name in enghlish...) But nice car anyway.
  15. Nice Ford, that weathering looks super, this is one of the most realistic, I have seen... I must try my hand about building rusty, "forgotten" car. I like the way how you did remove the engine, but for the transmission, I could make somekind of fitting or something for the trans. And that would be in the front of the transmission... But your model looks very good, thanks for sharing it!
  16. This is great build! I used to enjoy reading the WIP topic, and I was waiting when this one gets finished. That dust looks great on it and color fits perfectly to that body, paintjob is good too. I like the boxes in the trunk, they are looking very realistic. Engine detailing is very nice too, and that idea of Cadillac engine is great- Caddy engines are quite rarely seen in model cars... Nice Ford!
  17. Here is the start of my project. I have chopped the top, it was quite easy to do, but if you are thinking about chopping '49 Mercury, I'd like to say that do it carefully, little mistake and the to is ugly. But anyway, here are pictures about mine. Original body Here is one piece of the top gluing to place... And now, the top is glued to its place, and ready for some bondo... And now, I have put bondo and sanded, bondo, sanding, and now it looks like this, needs still more sanding... Actually this project is started last summer, but after the chop top, it has been inside the box, now I just took it to my workbench again, and body is in quite good shape. It needs new B- pillars and some other things too.
  18. Congratulations for the second place! This is very nice Chevelle, I like that color on it. Stance looks good too. Engine detailing is very nice, and paintjob is great too. Great model, this one is maybe your best one, I've seen.
  19. Thank you all for the nice words! Walt Francis, that Hemi Dart looks amazing, I love it in primer. This will be red, but that would be other choice for the color as well. I must continue this one with chassis and interior work soon...
  20. Yes, that helps very much! Thank you Cato, again!
  21. Great! Those steelies are very nicely fitting to the body, which looks very good after lots of cutting. I like the idea with those surf boards are nice and I can't wait to see more. Maybe if that would be my project, I might chop the top. Not much, but just a little?
  22. This is very interesting project, that Pontiac Safari is very nice car. I have never seen one in 1/25 scale. Can't wait to see how this one will turn out.
  23. Yes, it's very nice kit. Really worth buying and building. It's great that there comes extra parts with the kit, 440 Magnum and other interior floor etc. It goes together very well, and it's fun to build, and add some details.
  24. Gerald says it all. I have Revell kit too, I like that this one is Street version, Revell is race car. This project is now waiting for interior cauges, I must print them out, but I haven't printer so I must give them to my dad, he can print them at work. Maybe I can get this one to continue pretty soon...
  25. That is really nice Galaxie! I have always liked this body, and after these customizing things, you've done the body looks even better. Very nice job on this, paintjob is great, and color combo looks very nice to me. Wheels and tires are very good choice for this, and I like to see it without bumbers. That grille looks very good too. It would be nice to see some pictures of engine and interior too... But nice car anyway.
