  1. Good job with it, I like the look. That engine looks very good and sits nicely to the frame. Body is also done very nicely... That kind of front wheels comes in AMT '66 Thunderbird, Customizing Series version. Not sure about the tires, that kind of tires are in many kits...
  2. Well, actually I'm right now in Finland, I came back just yesterday! I had a marvellous vacation! It was very nice weather, so warm and no raining! Food was awesome, specially the breakfast in Ihop! Hope to get there again, Kissimmee Old Town Cruising was also very nice, that much cars in the winter!
  3. Good looking... Exept the wheels, but I like the engine and color combo, which you'll be using... But that chassis is incorrect for '60 Impala. Spare tyre case or whatever was in '59 Impala, but '60 Impala hadn't that one. Spare tyre was in the trunk. So it might be removed... I have it in my '60 Impala, and that is really bad thing, I don't like it at all, but now when the chassis has been finished long time, I don't remove it. But this one would be cut off, if you see it as a good idea... This thing here. But nice job with the Impala, can't wait to see more work on it.
  4. Nice color, I'm painting my own with the same color, but now I must remove the primer, because I failed it... Nice paintjob and very interesting project, I can't wait to see more. 427 is the only right engine for '67-'68 Impala.
  5. Nice work with it. I like this body and your work looks very good. Engine is very nice, those wires give a great realistic look. That steering wheels needs some paint, now it doesn't look real. So maybe paint it how it is in real car, and leave those clear areas how they are right now. But nice job with it so far anyways!
  6. Now I'm back in the business! JR Hobbies was closed, and there was a text that JR is retired and no one knows, is there coming a new shop with other owner or not. But I got time to check that Hobby Lobby just next to the Daytona Speedway, where I was watching free practise or something like that in Daytona Speedway Tour. In Hobby Lobby, there were much models, and they were CHEAP! I bought Kenworth, made by Revell and '65 Stepside. Total price was 35,02$. I got 30% off from the price, but anyways, that's not much, one new Revell's Special Edition costs 30 euros here in Finland. I also visited in Daytona Racing Souvenirs& Hobbies. I was amazed, how much there were models. I bought Jeff Gordon's Monte Carlo and some NASCAR tires, from the 60's and 70's. Also some wheels to them. Good place, and now I have three kits more. I bought also two tweezers from Flea Market, where my other family wanted to visit. THANK YOU, GUYS FOR THE INFO!!!

    1967 Chevelle

Really nice paintjob! I can't say any bad words from it, specially that engine bay is amazing, with all of its details. Foiling looks very good too, and really nice build after all. Thank you for sharing this one, and I would like to see more of pictures, if it's possible... Exellent build!
  8. Nice work on the Trans Am! That really looks like concept car, which probably could come out from the Pontiac's factory in 2012. Nice work with it, you have done those modifications very nicely and paintjob looks good too. Those wheels are good for this, as they are in new "Muscle cars". Nice job on it, engine isn't the best, but I think that it's mistake of a modelkit? Nice job on it, I really like this one!
  9. Yes, very nice job! The paint looks fantastic and decals are nice too. Engine isn't bad anyways. Dash looks awesome. But there is a one thing, which has been disturbing me all the time... Those rear tires. Ok, they look good and they are the perfect choice to this one, but they would look better outside the body line. Now they are like in normal car, like in '67 Chevelle. Like how they are usually in Hot Rod, would look even more cooler, got it? But they are not too bad like that, so keep the project going, I'm watching all the time, how this comes along. Thank you for sharing it!
  10. Nice, I like the movie, this seems to be from the older one. In the movie, which is filmed later, there was 426 Hemi. I can imagion Kowalski driving away from the polices. Nice paintjob on it and very clean build. One little thing, I would like to change if this were mine. The register plate. In the movie, policeman says that "OA5599- Colorado plates". But anyways, that's little thing, and your model is amazing!
  11. Nice Miura! I can't remember surely but was this Miura somekind of Bertone Prototype? Anyhow, the paintjob looks very good to me. Only the color might be little darker yellow, now it's maybe too light and there is a little too much green shade? Well anyway, that's a little thing, what doesn't matter. Nice build, very clean there are no any big mistakes with it. I like the wheels on this!
  12. Thank you, for the comments, here are few answers. Gunner: Yes, the spark plug boots are molded to the valve cover, and maybe I'll paint them some day. Amani: So how I did the bumbers? They are just originally molded to gray/ silver plastic. I painted them with Revell silver, the number of it is 91. They turned out great, but they look like that only if you watch them very close. Diymirage: There's no clear on it so the decals are put before clear. That Rallye Monte Carlo plate or sticker or whatever is it, it's put little badly there, because now it looks like part of the paintjob, as you said.
  13. Few more photos, thanks for looking! Any feedback is very very important, so I can make the next one better.
  14. This is the first one for 2011. Finished today. I bought this kit from Modellissimo, which is in Riccione, Italy. There were no any American cars, so I took this one. It's Tamiya's kit, it's very great quality, and fun to build; every part fits nicely to other. I started from the body... It needed a little of putty, and I used Green Putty for that work. Some sanding, and it looked ok. I did no other modifications or other special things for the body. I just primered it with Maston's primer, and there were no mistakes, so it was time for let the body dry for a long time, before the real paint. Engine is painted with Semigloss black, and valve covers... Oh yeah, there is only a valve cover! It's painted aluminium and weathered a little. Basic engine. It was time to make spark plug wires to it. The distributor was missing from the engine. Well, I made one from plastictube and somekind of metallic tube... It was just a little too high so I made another one. That was better. I also drilled holes for the plug wires, to valve cover. Better, and those wires were very easy to install. I put little rust to engine and weathered with black wash. I drilled the injector tubes open... Interior is quite simple. I painted the seats with semigloss black, and the place, where people sit, is mattblack. Seatbelts are made from Scale Dreams' Aftermarket material, with ModelCarGarage belt buckles. SABELT textes are pieces of paper, I just glued them to place. My seatbelt material was dark blue, but I wanted to paint them red. So I just took red paint after I had glued the belts to place and painted them. I drilled holes for the steering wheel too. Chassis is built with box parts, there are no any special things with it. Just tried to built it clean as possible, I mean that I tried to make it look realistic, little rust there is looking good, I think... Body is painted with spray gun. The paint is Humbroll Enamel MET 52. It wasn't an easy task to paint it, but I made it... Decals went very well, I used of course Micro Sol and Micro Set with them. I also glued windows to the body in this point, which seemed to be a mistake, little later. So, the body was really awfull to get fit with the chassis. All of the windows flied off the body, when I was trying to get it fit. Anyhow, now it fits... Nothing special with the final assembly... It feels good now, when I got the first car of the year finished. Here are the pictures, all of the project shots can be found from here.http://s486.photobucket.com/albums/rr225/nigot58/Renault%20Alpine/
  15. '62 Impala is something, rarely seen built to Pro Sportsman. Nice work on the chassis, and that work with the scoop looks very nice too. I like how the mockup looks. Nice work with it, I can't wait to see more of it.
  16. Amazing Jaguar! This is absolutely nicest Jaguar, ever made and this is a neat version of it. First, before engine picture I was thinking, that why the blower isn't center of the hood. But it's not a V8 engine! Nice work with it, and chassis seems to fit nicely to this body and of course that engine is nice. Paintjob is very good too, this is really eye candy. Thank you for sharing, more of these, please!

    2010 Builds

I really know nothing from turbos, but these ones, I've seen, there have been more piping and other stuff, like cooler... Really not a turbo expert, it's too modern for me. But those builds are nice, doesn't matter if there is a correct system or not.
  18. Nice project, like these Old School Dragsters. That engine looks very good and rear wheels and tires are perfect, they fit nicely to this. Your other projects are looking good too, so can't wait to see this finished. Keep This one going.
  19. These are the best! Whitewalls aren't bad anyways, but these are better. Those three spokes are better than those other ugly wheels, but they aren't matching with that engine so nicely. Anyways, I say that put these!

    2010 Builds

Nice models you have there! That Tijuana Taxi looks very good to me. It's nicely done and those slicks are looking very realistic. Good job with it. '60 Chevy looks very good too, I'm a great fan of those. That paintjob on it looks good to me. That's very good looking all the way. Engine picture would be nice. It's so sad that those Tom Daniel's '60 Chevy Wagon kits are bit bad quality, otherwise I could have them all... Now I have '60 Nomad resin body... Back to topic, that last one, '75 Nova (?) looks very good to me too, but there is that Twin turbo system under the hood.... I think that Twin Turbo engine needs bit more piping, to the cooler etc... But they are nicely done, all of them. I can't wait to see more of your builds!
  21. When I first time saw this thread, I was thinking that if I would build that, it will never be finished... So much work it needs before primer. But now it looks very very good to me, and I can't wait to see, how this one turns out. Really like the look now. Riviera is one of my favorite, Buick has made. Nice job with it do far, keep it coming...
  22. Those whitewalls are looking millions of times better than those big ugly wheels... But I would use high profile and wide tires for the back, without whitewall. 5 spoke wheels there, like Gragar on American Racing wheels. But anyways, I like the project. Engine looks very good, detailing is very nice. Here are nice wheel and tire combo:http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_i_AovfzNXgQ/TSqQrUidBII/AAAAAAABaz4/nD77AiwLrVA/s1600/DSC_0058.JPG
  23. Very nice Nova, like it a lot. That paintjob looks very good and I like the Yenko stripe on it. The engine detailing is perfect as always, there is everything, I can ever think about. Very nice work with it, I can't wait to see more of your builds, love these!
  24. Nice Camino! This is one of my favourite Camino models, and your build looks amazing. Paintjob is very beautiful and nice grille on the front! I like those taillights too and interior is very nicely done. Everything is done nicely, this is maybe the best El Camino, i have seen built...
  25. Oh yes, it's AMAZING! Paintjob is simply stunning! That shine is just perfect and those flames are looking just perfect on it. Wheelsand tires are nice and they fit just perfectly to this one. I like it, I can't say more, it's just amazing. :)
