Wow, that's very great Gasser! Love these. I like that color on it, it's just perfect to this one and paintjob looks very good. That engine looks very good too, and detailing is amazing. I like the stance too and wheels and tires are just perfect to this one. Nice job on the BMF and that combination without grille and Mooneyes gas tank right there, looks good. Nice!

Dart got finished just less than one week ago, and now next project is on its way! Engine looksa very good so far and how fast you built it! I can't get that nice engine in that time (well, I can't get that nice engine never...). Weathering looks very good to me and detailing is very nice. I like these old rally cars, specially Group B rally cars were my favorites. My all time favorite rally car is Lancia S4 drove by Henri Toivonen & Sergio Cresto. But anyways, your project looks very good to me, I'm watching this one.

Here is the first update to my Corvette! So, it's going to be Roadsport V8 race car. I like that race class, there are V8 engine powered American cars, like Camaro, Corvette etc. Few years ago there was also Buick Special, but now that guy has new car, '67 Camaro and he is driving Historic category, for now... But, this body is AMT's "Eckler Corvette", and it has been few months in MR Muscle, but the paint didn't leave from the body... Well, I bought Fairy Power Spray, which is very good stuff, I've heard. After about one month, nothing happened! Well, only choice was to take sandpaper to hand and remove paint like that... Paint left pretty well from passenger's side, but the driver's side was very very hard, now the body looks better, and I'm going to take sheet styrene and start doing little modifications to it. Here is the body, when I got it. After few months in MR Muscle and one month in Fairy Power Spray: Sanding... I have put some putty to the dashboard:

Finally a little update to you... I have done some more body work. Sanded the body quite much and now I put some more bondo to it. It looks pretty ok right now, and I think that it doesn't need so much sanding anymore. Next step is sand the body smooth and then of course I must continue from axle systems or engine... Comments are welcome...

Very nice job with it. That paintjob looks very good on it, and I like that engine a lot. Nice details all over, that chassis pic' is really autentic looking. I like that stance and wheels and tires too. Good looking all the way, but one thing, which is disturbing me with this model. That frontend seems to be a little too sloping. I mean, that in real thing it's upright. Maybe that's just because of the picture, but that's not your mistake anyways. Nice job with Camino!

That's AMAZING!!! It looks like real! This is the best diorama, I have seen long long time. Amazing job with it. That Chevy looks very good too, paintjob on it is awesome, and I like that driver inside the cab. That house looks very realistic, there is nice weathering, and Jack Daniel's Distillery sign loks very good to me. I like also that guy, who is going inside the building, he looks really realistic also. And huh, 16 barrels of whiskey! Great. That pickup is so shiny that it fits just perfectly to there. This is too cool, itäs so realistic that I can't say more from it.

That's very good start! I like those modifications, you have done to it. Roadster version is very nice, and it's sad that there are no roadster kits available. I have been thinking of building '37 Roadster, whith my friend... He have a great basis for the project. Those doors are very nicely done too, I didn't remember that Roadster has that kind of doors. Anyways, looking forward to see, what's coming in next update. Great work with it.

Very nice looking Chevy Pickup! I like the color combo a lot. Those are just fitting perfectly to this car too. I like also the paintjob, it's very nice, so shiny and smooth. Nice job with the bodywork too, gloss black shows every mistake, but I can't see any of them. Very nice engine detailing too, what I can see from that picture. Also it looks good when it's just like factory stock, or very close of it. Nice work with it, keep more of these coming. this kit I must buy and build it.
-
Great project you have there! Somehow I have missed this one before, but now when I look at it, I can say that you are doing great job with it. I like that how it looks now, and interior looks very very good to me. Great job on the modifications too, now just waiting to see this thing cleared. I'm building the same kit as a custom, but I think, I'm maybe hide it forever, when I saw this. Nice work!

Nice project. Looks very good so far, like that engine with blower. These '63-'67 Corvettes are very nice, I think. I can see that you have done bodywork nicely, that's great too. Like this one, can't wait to see it finished.

Welcome to the forum, Jason! Your model looks very good, what I can see from that picture. Here is one way, which might work if your camera doesn't have macro mode. Go far away from the model and zoom in (?) as much as you can. So you stand few meters away from the model and zoom as muxh as you can. Understand? (My enghlish isn't so great...) When you take the picture that far, it doesn't matter at all, if your camera is using a flash... I have taken pretty good pictures with that way, and it needs no background wallpapers etc. Of course it it doesn't work, then that might be good try. Anyways, here you can see one example of taking picture like that. I took this pic' few months ago: Click it to see picture bigger.

Umm, that paintjob is outstanding! It's so shiny and specially it's smooth! Wow. Nice clean build, I haven't really been thinking of building boxstock models, but this one shows out, that boxstock can be very nice too. Awesome looking merc', I like that engine a lot too and chassis work is very nice also. Your skills are awesome, keep these models coming, can't wait to see more of your work.

That is very cool looking Plymouth so far! I like that idea a lot, it's a bit different than all other '41 Plymouths! I like that weathering too, it looks very good and real. Those steelies are looking very good too on this and that decal (?) on the driver's door. Looks good, can't wait to see more of this build...

Oh no, that deadline is too tight. Well, I hope that there comes good looking models to see!

I specially like that engine bay, and that, you removed the inner fenders. I wanted to do that too on mine, but because Nova's front suspension is like that and I had just a little time, I left those inner fender to place. Paintjob looks really good, and color fits to my eye. Chassis doesn't really matter, because no one can see it. If there are some mistakes, who cares. You have opened the trunk very nicely, I did the same thing for '66 "Chevelle" sometime ago...

Are you going to build this one factory stock? If you are, satin coat to chassis would be good choice, as Jeff said. And maaybe I should paint that front axle system by black, but some silver parts there too, of course. And if you are going to satin coat that chassis, then the frame would look good if you would paint it gloss black. Those parts are then looking like two parts, which are just bolted on, not like molded one piece, as it looks right now. Gas tank also is better if you paint it gloss black and those gas tank mounts/pins whatever by silver... There's some constructive critic, now lets move on to positive feedback. Body color looks very good, that blue fits just fine to '66 Impala. Engine in the background looks very good, and that wiring would look very cool and when engine is well detailed, hole model looks better, when the hood is opened. Your build looks very good so far all the way, thank you for sharing this one, can't wait to see it finished.

That real thing looks very good. It's also great to see that when something gets finished, it will not take long time when next project is on its way. Nice job so far, that hood looks very good, I think. Interesting project you got there, I'll be watching this one... -
Is there any deadline? I would like to enter, if there is no too tight deadline to me.
-
Allright, I add you to entry list. Thank you for entering. I started sanding to my Corvette. It looks good when all the paint is sanded off... Maybe I get tomorrow time to finish it up and start building the body too. I painted the engine with red already. More coming soon, I think.
-
WOW, that's great scratchbuilding! I like this one, you are building it so nicely, I mean that if something is wrong, you fix it. That interior work looks very very good too. I like also how you did that gas tank, I'm speechless...
-
Thank you both! Andy, you got exactly same models than me! Great. I painted those little plug hats(?) from valve covers by matt black, as they are in real thing. It would have been easier to paint them before adding ignition wires, but now I did this way. My shaking hand didn't help that task at all...
-
Thank you both! Yes, I was thinking that these engines were Keith Black Hemi engines. Just wasn't sure about it. I painted engine block aluminium to my Firebird FC, but that doesn't look so good, because all is silver, as in 1:1 but still, it looks undetailed... This was better way right now. But thank you for the comments.

Looks good so far. These latest pictures aren't the best, but I can see your progress. Engine looks very good so far, keep it going. I like this kit, it's awesome as you said earlier. Can't wait to see more!

I had no time to post this topic yesterday, but here you go! This I got for X-mas present too. It's very nice kit, as always. Like just so much these Special Editions... Body needed few moficiations too. I made rear fenders bigger. Now slicks are fitting perfectly. I also sanded GTS logos from the front fenders and from the trunk lid. Also I sanded side markers from front fenders... I sanded body ready for primer. I also started the work with the engine. Block is painted by orange. I added ignition wires too, and they are looking pretty good. Interior work is the next step... Original GTS version body... Here it is, ready for primer... And some engine work...

I got this kit on X-Mas present. It's very great looking kit, and there are lots of great parts. Hemi engine looks very good too. First I started the project from the engine. I painted engine block by orange. I know that it might be aluminium block, but maybe someone has painted it orange... I painted lots of stuff by silver, of course when I'm building race car. Adding spark plug wires wasn't an easy task. First I drilled little graves. Then I drilled holes there and glued wires to place. Wasn't so easy but I think, those wires are looking pretty good... Now I must build frame a little...
