Has anyone tried the 1K clear over decals? I have a build I’m wanting to try it on that I’ve applied Keith Marks decals on, but I don’t want to ruin a build. Anyone used it on a painted and decaled body?

Got the decals on, waiting to clear it. Hopefully tomorrow maybe I can shoot the clear on it and the matte clear on the interior.

Thanks for the replies so far folks!!! Looks like I’ll be making the change to Vallejo since all I can find at Hobby Lobby is the small jars of Testors paints. Plus it appears Vallejo offers a way larger selection for detailing things.

Great looking Chevelle!!! I’m sure those stripes were a bit of a nightmare.

I went to do some detail painting last night and noticed a lot of my Model Masters enamels had either dried out or had huge goopy clumps in them even after shaking them. What paint(s) does everyone use for detail work? Can I use craft paints like Vallejo? I’m assuming that they can be brushed on? Water clean up? Please school me on this as I’m trying to get out of my old ways and open more opportunities.

Interior painted base color, still need to detail paint everything. Basic engine wiring, may do more just depends on how I feel about it.
