Yes the AMT 68 Shelby GT500 has those wheels. I have a set of them in my parts box that I didn’t use.

firewalls and rad supports
Keef replied to l88 chevelle's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Maybe the firewall and radiator support from the AMT 69 Olds would work. -
I’m cheap on some things, storage being one of them. Most times I’ll leave everything in the original box it came in. If I get a rebuilder without a box then I use the to-go containers from restaurants. These oval shaped ones are from Cracker Barrel and the rectangular “catch-all” is from a local Chinese restaurant. I also use one of the oblong ones to put water in for doing decals. Makes it easier to chase down the small ones and plenty of room for the larger ones.

I don’t have the Country Charger kit to compare, but I would almost say that it’s too long. -
Revell 1966 GTO Engine Bay/Chassis Fit.
Keef replied to StevenGuthmiller's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
After looking at the first picture you posted vs the last one I can see what you’re saying. The last picture looks way more acceptable than the “toss a baby through it” gap in the first picture. I love following your builds because of the detailed work you put into your amazing creations. Carry on good sir, I’ll be watching ? -
Revell 1966 GTO Engine Bay/Chassis Fit.

On most older GM products the inner fender liner bolted to the fender and radiator shell but “floated” above the frame rails. Normally there was a material similar to a mudflap that had clips to hide the gap between fender liner and frame rails. Google 1966 GM inner fender splash shield and it should help explain. -
Vintage Bell Telephone Van
Keef replied to Brian Austin's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
My grandfather, who was a “repurposer “ bought an old South Central Bell van just like that one at an auction when I was maybe 6 years old. He turned it into a very cool looking van. From what I remember it was painted RootBeer with a LOT of flake, had a 6 inch wide lace pattern down the sides in gold. Tan interior with wood paneling and shag carpet. Installed a his/hers sunroof in the front with twin vents in the back. Chin spoiler and rear roof spoiler along with chromed side pipes. Had 15x10 rear and 15x8 front U.S. slot mags with some wide rubber. It was one of the coolest things I remember seeing at that age. I’d love to find a model of it and build one for nostalgia sake. -

The gaps between the inner fender and frame rails? I would think that would be normal on a 1:1 car as the inner fender is removable. Maybe that carried over to the model as well? -

2023 Cannonball Run "Run-What-You-Brung" Official Finished Builds
Keef replied to White Rabbit's topic in Community Builds
Revell 1971 GTX built from the F&F kit. I used the Hemi engine from the Revell 71 Hemi Cuda kit. It has added spark plug wires and decals from Keith Marks. I used Pegasus 23” Hellas wheels and tires with added gold Sharpie detail. The paint is Model Masters Xtreme Diamond Dust with Wet Look clear. Interior is Testors Red enamel with matte clear. Had this vision in my head and, to me at least, it turned out beautifully. -
Love the wheels and tires! Where did they come from?

I haven’t made a lot of progress on my 2nd entry. Don’t know if I’ll have it done in time but I am plugging away at it! -
Mopar Performance valve covers, where??
Keef replied to Keef's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
They have a rather unsavory reputation in this hobby. People have paid for products and either never received them or it took months(years?) to finally get them. Thanks for your replies though, very much appreciated! ?? -

Kits you can't seem to have enough of.

Mostly any musclecar kit but mainly 60s-70s Mopars. Always been a fan of good old Detroit Muscle. -
Thank You. Yes he was almost human. He would jump up on my workbench while I was in the garage and just sit and watch me, almost like he was trying to learn what I was doing. He was definitely a Daddy’s boy, always with me wherever I was. He will definitely be missed. ?
