I noticed that after I posted the pics, it’s actually the coil wire that I somehow forgot to attach ??

I like the Heresy idea! I built one years ago for another forum( now gone the way of the dodo) that actually made a few purists feel very upset ? Ladies and Gents I give you the “Hemaro”!!

I too appreciate the effort he puts into not only his builds but the description of the how’s and whys of what he does in each step. Watching one of his builds is akin to watching one of those automotive shows or reading a book describing how a car is built. I look forward to seeing each new post and love going back and reading his threads. I’ve actually learned quite a bit from his posts.

I’ve noticed the “views” counter on topics isn’t showing any activity.

Tried using the black GT 500 decals but must have had a brain fart and did t coat them before dunking them in water. They totally disintegrated into a million pieces. So I used the kit decals and pieced them together.

2023 Cannonball Run-What-You-Brung Build Thread
Keef replied to White Rabbit's topic in Community Builds
Finished this one up today. It fought me every step of the way. Couldn’t get good pics of it outside, too late in the day. Will try to get better photos next weekend when I get home from work. I’ll be using the GTX for my entry in the contest. -
I used the AMT 68 Shelby GT500 body and parts with the Revell 68 GT chassis, interior and running gear. The wheels/tires are Pegasus Centerlines. The paint is a factory Jeep color called Rescue Green. The weather didn’t want to cooperate with me on the pics so I’ll try to take some better outdoor ones later.

What did you see on the road today?
Keef replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I saw a 64 Pontiac Catalina today like this one(was driving and couldn’t get a pic)it was the same color with a white painted top and what looked like polished torque thrusts. Older guy driving, I gave him a thumbs up and he smiled and waved and goosed it a little. Sounded very healthy to me. -
I 2nd this idea. Truck,Van,or SUV would be fun!

I have this kit in my stash (bought on clearance at HL) and have been wondering what to do with it. Your build has given me some good inspiration. Beautiful work!

I just read through this entire thread and all I can say is HOLY MOLY!!! The details are amazing and the display is a builder’s dream!! I wouldn’t know where to begin if I had to choose one. Amazing job!!

That’s beautiful!! Love the color and the wheels really make the whole thing pop! That engine is beautiful too, any problems making it fit beneath the hood?
-
