  1. I’ve been anxiously awaiting this one!!! And I am definitely NOT disappointed in the least bit!! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! You have actually inspired me to do a similar project with a 65 Riviera.
  2. Absolutely beautiful build of an iconic Mopar!!!
  3. Steve, I “skoshed” it down as far as I could and it still have the suspension off the ground ? I do have 3 more of these to build at a later date though so I may put one in the weeds with some larger wheels at some point. Building this one quick to get me out of the rut I’m in. I look at my current projects and I just don’t have the motivation to get back on them, hopefully this will help me.
  4. Got the grille detailed and the first coat of paint on it. Going for a shop truck kind of look. I have it pictured in my head and I hope it turns out like my mind is picturing it.
  5. If I’m not mistaken having owned numerous late70s-early 80s Dodge trucks, the 79-80 had two different grille options. There was my personal favorite, the quad headlight grille and the round headlight grille as well. I believe 79-80 had a different hood as well. 78 was the last year for the “birdbath” hood, 79-80 had a flat hood.
  6. I too noticed the 2wd parts were included in the package. I was originally thinking of maybe picking up one or two, but after seeing that video I’m sure 6 or more will find their way to my stash. The possibilities are endless with this one and the long bed D100, as well as the availability of a resin short bed.
  7. Bought 4 of these at Ollie’s awhile back and decided I needed something to get me out of my building slump. This will be my first curbside build ever. Stance mocked up and looks good to me.
  8. Yeah the headlight rings leave quite a bit to be desired, and that orange plastic ?
  9. Pics now
  10. Beautiful work! That color looks great with the wheels and tires.
  11. WOW!! That dash is a work of art!! The interior is looking amazing and with that color red it will definitely POP!!
  12. Loving this one so far!!! I’ll tag along and maybe I can learn something. Love those hinges!
  13. After some quick test fitting , the chassis from the AMT pro street 67 Chevelle fits fairly well. Again this was a quick test fit but it appeared the wheelbase lined up pretty well. So maybe the stock 67 Chevelle kit from AMT would fit as well and be a lot better detail.
  14. My wife is from upstate New York (Fishkill/Hopewell Junction) and she got to see Pink Floyd at The Garden back around 87. I’m jealous, always been a fan of KISS but never got to see them live.
  15. I voted!! Good luck to everyone!!
  16. Can’t remember if I posted these before or not but I got these at a local collectibles shop for next to nothing.
  17. I’ll definitely be getting at least 2 of the Demons and possibly a couple of the 60 Ford trucks. The 62 just doesn’t do it for me. If it were a short wheelbase truck I’d probably get a couple of them. Never been a fan of longbeds. *edit* just realized the 60 Ford truck is a long bed too. May still buy one just for the trailer but I don’t think I possess the skills to cut it down to a short bed truck.
  18. Saw this one day while eating lunch, snapped some pics as I was leaving. What’s with the chrome trim by the gas door?
  19. Now THAT is a BEAUTIFUL Shelby!!!
  20. I noticed that after I posted the pics, it’s actually the coil wire that I somehow forgot to attach ??
  21. I like the Heresy idea! I built one years ago for another forum( now gone the way of the dodo) that actually made a few purists feel very upset ? Ladies and Gents I give you the “Hemaro”!!
  22. Stripes look great Bill, glad you could use them!!
  23. I too appreciate the effort he puts into not only his builds but the description of the how’s and whys of what he does in each step. Watching one of his builds is akin to watching one of those automotive shows or reading a book describing how a car is built. I look forward to seeing each new post and love going back and reading his threads. I’ve actually learned quite a bit from his posts.
  24. Absolutely BEEyooteefull Mopar!!
