  1. You have my attention sir ?
  2. Love the low stance, it gives these cars a meaner look in my opinion.
  3. I’ll be watching this build, maybe will get me motivated to finish mine. I can’t wait to see what you do about the headlight issue.
  4. Absolutely beautiful!!! The colors and wheels/tires make it exquisite!! Truly amazing!
  5. Yeah I noticed that ? It looked fine the other day when I sprayed it. I’ll give it another coat and let it dry for a few days then start detailing it.
  6. Annnddddd….. We have paint!!! Now comes all the detailing and stuff that makes me wanna pull my hair out LOL
  7. Mine was just like this one with these wheels and interior
  8. What color was yours Mr Boyd? I too had a 1979 Ghia Notchback with a 5.0 and automatic transmission. It was my 2nd car I’ve ever owned. I traded my first car(1974 Mustang II) and $150 for it and drove it for 3 years. Sold it to my local Mustang guru and it has sat in the exact same spot for the past 32 years. I went by one day and asked if he’d sell it back to me and it could be mine again for $400, I’m seriously tempted lol
  9. I’ll be watching this build unfold. Can’t wait to see what you do with it!
  10. Loved the story and LOVE the finished product. The color is perfect and the fit and finish is amazing!!! Superb job!!!
  11. Love that color!!! Who is the manufacturer? The kit looks amazing!!!
  12. It is very rewarding to see the finished product, but my brain was having a fight with itself. One half said “ok that’s fine” and the other half said “nahhh we can do this and this and this…” ?
  13. Oh yeah… one more thing… fender braces that I have yet to see in a Camaro kit
  14. Honestly I don’t know how you guys do it LOL i decided to go out of my comfort zone some more and try to do some detailing under the hood. I added heater hoses, ran a hot wire for the alternator and added power steering lines between the pump and steering box. Also added brake lines from the master cylinder and both positive and negative battery cables. After a long day at work outside I had to stop myself because my eyes were starting to cross ?
  15. What can I say that hasn’t been said already? Absolutely beautiful build so far!! I can’t wait to see it in paint. Seeing all the great builders on here fabricating parts and body mods has me wanting to try it now. I have access to 4’x8’ sheets of styrene from .010 to .060 at work so I think I’m gonna bring home some pieces and start practicing. Thank you sir for the inspiration!!!
  16. Amazing builds!! I’d love to find one of these to modify into a 66 Polara to replicate my dads very first new car that he ever bought. His was yellow with black vinyl top and interior.
  17. Awesome movie, one of my favorites. And a beautiful replica of an awesome car! Well done sir!!
  18. I built the Camaro for a good friend at work as a replica of his teenage car he had in high school and gave it to him for his birthday.
  19. Is that Jeep the Mountain Goat kit?
  20. Don’t ya hate it when you’re digging through your parts box looking for something and you find a part that makes you change your mind on something else? Yeah me too lol! I’m calling the engine done for now lol
  21. ??? that chassis detail is jaw dropping amazing!! The weathering looks perfect!
  22. Congrats on your wins!! I have the 68/69 Chevelle kits in my stash. I’ve been trying to get motivated to build one and this has my brain going 90mph now lol. Love the yellow one and of course the Charger as I’m a big Mopar guy lol.
  23. I have a couple of these Nova kits in my stash and have yet to build one. It seems to build up into an excellent kit. I’ll be keeping my eye on this build and following for inspiration.
  24. Decided I’d see if I can make a silk purse from this sows ear. Being molded in orange is actually a helpful thing because I’m going with an orangeish color anyway. Undecided on interior color at this time. Started assembling the engine and doing stance mock-up yesterday. Also was my first time using Tamiya thin cement, WOW!! is all I can say. Can’t believe I didn’t learn about this stuff earlier lol.
