Ok!! …… that’s it!!!! …… I quit!! again! ? Amazing details, it looks awesome!!

Well, after finishing up all of my started projects and, having 6 days off work, what’s a guy to do? Why, start another new build project of course!! I’ve had this in the stash for awhile and, having finished up mainly Mopars and Mustangs these past few months, I thought it was time I showed a little more GM love. This one will be done up as a pseudo-autocross/ daily driver and weekend local car show attendee. Worked on it this morning and got the stance where I want it I think. Wheels and tires are from a Fujimi Ferrari F40 kit, everything else will be from the kit, my spare parts, or hand built by me. Buckle up and enjoy the ride as I’m going to take my time on this one and attempt to build my best model ever!!

Thanks for the compliments guys!! I had actually been thinking of getting out of the hobby altogether then after logging back on here and seeing all the awesome stuff on here I guess I got inspired or motivated to get back to the bench and start building again.

Or at least the last 3 months of it were ? These we’re all started within the last 1-3 years and finished up within the last 3 months. I now have motivation to build again, just need to figure out what my next project will be.

It’s a factory Jeep color called Rescue Green, had it mixed in a spray can at a local automotive paint store. It was kinda pricey but I have plenty left for other projects.

Finished up the last of 6 ongoing projects that started anywhere from 1 to 3 years ago. After not doing anything other than buying and opening several kits over the past year, it felt really good to be able to get 6 projects done in 3ish months. Now I can start several more ??

After having not really touched a model for most of the year, I found some inspiration on here and now in the past 3ish months I have finished 8 projects that were started anywhere from 1-3 years ago. I now have the urge to build again, but decided I needed to finish all my started projects before I did anything else. Here’s a few pics of my finished stuff.

I normally build musclecars, with Mopars being my favorite, but now you’ve got me wanting to build some Tri 5 gassers lol. The overall attention to detail and the execution of this build is amazing!!

That paint job is amazing! It’s so shiny! Thanks for posting your details on how you painted it, gonna use that info for a future build ??

Looking good so far! I’ll be following this build. Is this the Revell kit?

I have 2 of these Camaros in my stash(1 Baldwin Motion and 1 with red car on box) and following your build is giving me ideas and motivation to try new things when I build one of them. Looks amazing so far!!!

Orange Roadrunner or the green Superbee would be my favorites but, they all look awesome and you can’t go wrong with a Mopar ?

If the weather would cooperate with me I have several finished projects to take outdoor pics of but Mother Nature has other plans ?

After reading this I opened my kit up and low and behold, it had the wide ovals in it too! ?? -
I pretty much have the sheet stuff covered, I work for a printing company and can get sheet styrene in 4’x8’ sheets in everything from .010-.060 thickness. My main thing I guess really is what are the most common used sizes of rod and tube diameters and what other sizes and shapes are commonly used for scratch building. Just trying to figure out what I need to pick up next trip to hobby shop. Thank you for your input, it helped a lot sir. ??

What supplies do you guys(and gals) keep on hand for scratch building? Sheet styrene? Most common sizes to have? styrene Rod and tube? Sizes? Other types and shapes of styrene to keep handy for building custom stuff, roll cages, etc.
