if it doesn't get the people who run the board upset. i, for one, would like to see all of the pics put together. they are some awesome skills you have.
sweet piece of machinery, tyrone. the end result is fantastic. i keep looking at those fuel and nitrous lines. so incredibly small and yet look perfect!
my pleasure dave. there are alot of different chassis' on the site. i'm really surprised that they put the drawings out there. most chassis companies won't do that. i mean you have to pay to get the dimensioned print but, for modelling purposes. these things are great.
guys, thank you for the very kind responses! definitely appreciated!
wayne, maybe the next one, hehe! nice try though.
i started plumbing the nitrous. here is the upper set of nozzles in the runners.
the start of the viper dual systems.
it's a 2x3 chassis w/ struts and ladder bars. the the quarters and the roof panel are the only steel parts. the rest is fiberglass. we first ran it as a super gas car with a stroker 351 windsor. later, we built the 598" svo motor. we were no where near the quality of car that we ran against. nor did we have the bank roll they did but, it was a ton of fun.
justin, don't give up. while i'm not the guy that can help you ( the stuff i build either has no lights or painted on lights ) i'm more than positive some one on this board will be able to help you out with some ideas / suggestions,
mike, i have some drawings from someone else's website. i don't know about the authenticity but, you are more than welcome to them.
nikko, have a good time at the track. take lot's of pics!
i had a super pro street car in the 1994 world street finals at orlando. my partner and i ran a '66 mustang fast back with 598" svo ford motor.
since then i've had a bunch of other cars. my last was an A/Dragster that i ran in comp eliminator.
john, you may want to swap those blower pulleys around. the big one goes on the crankshaft. your setup would be under driving the blower.
very nice build.
looks fantastic ken!!!! although you might want to straighten up that engine........i think it fell over........hehe. awesome workmanship, man!!!!!!!!!
