  1. Russel , it is great to see you finally found a couple of parts donors. I have been intrigued with your General ever since you first showed it to us.
  2. Mark - What a beauty ! I really like the looks of this truck with your color choices. Very nice work
  3. Terry - I am going to send you an auto detail kit and a couple cans of krylon so you can clean those trucks up. Those trucks are rough ! But boy do they look like they have some stories to tell. It is fantastic that there was another entry, the judges must of not seen it due to the lights reflecting off of it
  4. Somebody's job must be a "Grave Digger" to find this old thread.
  5. Sorry it took so long to see this Angel , I really like what you did to this snap kit. Great job grafting in the rear cab and swapping in a sleeper. You are very much welcome for the bumper , I am glad I was able to help. Did the decals come that yellowish color or did your basecoat affect them ? Anyway It is a sharp looking rig !
  6. It will be just around the corner here soon
  7. For you old school fans. The ranch I work for bought this three months ago. Recently my foreman called me wanting to know how to drop the air bags so he back under a trailer. My reply was what airbags ? That is a spring suspension. Your gonna have to dolly up that trailer
  8. Pretty Classy looking rig. My favorite feature is the hood ornament !
  9. I have really liked the movies he has directed also, one of my top favorites "A Perfect World" .
  10. Good to see you back at your bench / counter top ! We have a '74 Pete here on the ranch, here are some interior shots.
  11. Made the 240 mile round trip to town for supplies and brought home a New Four wheeler. 2015 Honda Foreman. My wife loves it, I think I will have to get me one now.
  12. Here is the flip side of your drought. Growing up in Colorado the rivers that feed the Colorado River you could almost walk across without getting your feet wet . Lakes and reservoirs would be way low also because so much water had been allocated to Utah, Arizona, Nevada and California. The joke was "a record snowfall" Guaranteed green golf courses in the Dessert.
  13. Wow, with the right background I would really have to look to make sure this wasn't a real truck & trailer. I also have to say this is one of the nicest builds I have ever seen of this kit. All the extras really made it "pop" !
  14. Dern, sorry guys. That is what works for me now - but I have Firefox.
  15. Kind of like some voodoo magic anymore
  16. Sam , I use photobucket and I had to start using the IMG code at the bottom of the list. The old forum worked on Direct. I just click on the IMG link , it highlights in blue, Then left click for paste option on your thread Once you submit it "should" give you your picture.
  17. Jacobus , you build some of the coolest old trucks. This one looks great , I like it just the way it is. What is the correct wheelbase for this truck ? As you mentioned information is very hard to find. "Thumbs up all the way " !
  18. I have two of these 7400 cabs I acquired in a trade. One of these days I might get to one of them.
  19. I like the looks of this truck. Pit fenders will really make it look great . I built a set for a pit fenders for a truck I am working on - if I could do it , anyone can !
  20. Thanks guys, In all honesty this truck has been sealed in a box since my move to Montana. All that was lacking was spraying the red on the cab and decals , and finial bits. I guess I should bring it back to the bench - I never expected this to be dredged up out of the depths and back on the main page.
  21. Terry - those hinges are fantastic. Having the hood hinged like that will make this truck stand out from the crowd even more ! If I may add a suggestion perhaps some clear acetate or similar material would make a better windshield. I wish I had done so on my Reo , as the AMT glass is so thick.
  22. Well the only thing I have to show at the moment - I rebuilt "Bears" seat after seeing some better pics of the real one.
  23. Awesome Angel, I am looking very forward to seeing this one built !
  24. Sam , this is one fantastic project. I had not looked at it for some time and started from page one. What a motivator to get back to the bench !
  25. That looks like a lot of fun future projects. Great idea for keeping them organized. I just ordered a bunch of cardboard trays to house my junkers and spare parts. They have been sealed up in small boxes. Hopefully if I can see them I will get around to them
