  1. Wow Terry, the cab looks fantastic ! Real smooth finish - a ton of OCD sanding huh It paid off.
  2. That sleeper looks great ! Looks like a lot of careful work was needed to cut the doors out. Did you use a jewelers saw ?
  3. Stunning work on the combo, boy do they really stand out ! You need a pair of those gloves coin collectors wear to handle them.
  4. Nice to see another one of your Impressive old builds. Nothing wrong with being stuck in the '80's - paint jobs were way much better then bland graphics.
  5. I have several of those forms in kits I have. Sadly I can not help you at this time as everything is packed up for a move. I will check back in a few weeks to see if one has been posted.
  6. Robert , glad to see the pictures. I am a big fan of Ford Semi's and was really excited to see this . Awesome choice using the Detroit. I have several pics of 1/1 engines. Here is a well used one to give you some reference on breaking up the colors some or adding depth. Let me know by a p/m if you need other views. Fantastic workmanship , keep up the good work.
  7. I like it looks like a real workhorse. Where did you get your Detroit 60 from ? I was just mentioning these trucks to a friend yesterday - then you posted this to fuel the fire more.
  8. A lot of log truck drivers are like Harvest truck drivers - they travel to where the work is.
  9. A real pic of Horsepower and Steampower. Terry your project reminded me of this picture. Locomotive is from the Cumbres & Toltec Narrow Gauge RR and the Trucking Co is Southway Construction
  10. I love those old Brockways, yours looks terrific and I like the load your going to be hauling also. Horsepower & Steampower , nothing better ..
  11. Skip said "I also think that some interior parts and molded-on firewall hoses etc. would look better with a little scoring around the separate parts before painting to "lift" them off of the surface a bit." That is a great tip, why had I never thought of that ? I always eliminated them and used bits of styrened , wood blocks and wire for replicate what was molded on.
  12. My greatest fear on the road use to be Drunk Drivers - now it is Idiots texting.
  13. Those are some nice pics , thanks for posting them. The six spoke wheels are great.
  14. Hands down one of the finest Zero's I have ever seen. Truly amazing and prescision work you have shown here. Thank you for the viewing pleasure.
  15. Builder alangarber posted a while back on his "Tyrone Malone" trucks about using clear decal paper and spraying sections the colors he needed to cut and use for stripes. WHich for this truck would work out very well
  16. Exceptional work Terry , the pics of the other trucks are nice eye candy also. I hear you on the seams on the running lights, I filed / sanded them off on my Pete and the sprayed them with Alclad to make them shine again. Thanks for the updates , your wrecker provided a much needed distraction.
  17. I believe the "Texas Bumper" was originally built to scrape Armadillos off the roads
  18. Nice save to a great looking a/c. You had your work cut out using mahogany.
  19. Great story Angel and even better the truck that won your admiration. Both look fantastic !
  20. That is the sexiest mixer I have ever seen Very Impressive work. Thanks for the breakdown on the modifications.
  21. I went from this 5 years ago to this Sold, traded and gave away hundreds of aircraft kits.
  22. Now that is really something - I'm impressed with the drive setup as with the color combination and cab choice. Super work David !
  23. Wow where did you find all those 378 Kits ?
