  1. Don't see those every day.
  2. That tunnel carpeting looks great.
  3. Penske ran a F-1 team from '74-'77, the Vels Parnelli Jones team ran F-1 from '74-'76, and there was a failed team called US F1 Team that was supposed to race the 2010 season.
  4. Congrats. Well deserved.
  5. That is very nice.
  6. Welcome Kaleb. I used to judge the BBQ contest held there untill 3 years ago. My wife likes the flee market. Sadly hobby supplies in Oshkosh and Appelton are quite a challenge for a 14 year old.
  7. This is exactly what the name callers are missing. You can't cheat at a game without rules. So let's stop the name calling, hating, and bullying and build something.
  8. Cheating? Really? In order to cheat, you have to break the rules. Are there posted rules for this game? If you were told to find someone, what would you do? Walk around and look for them? Google them? What if you were a private eye? You techniques and skills at finding people would increase your chances of finding this person. We all have different skill sets and we should be encouraged to use them to the max. Unless your breaking the rules. Are there rules? Most of you build better models than me. I feel bad for me, but good for you. I don't call you a cheater. There are no rules involved. Just skills.
  9. I bought a R&R kit from Ray's son about six years ago. He said it was the last one of that style and that he was discontinuing his dad's kits and making new ones under another company name, which escapes me at this time.
  10. Guess I missed it again. Bob Dahl, are you bringing paint to the AMG meeting? How's the knee doing?
  11. When is the Model Empire swap?
  12. Not totally sure of the company name, I think it's Green Line, makes Indy cars. The good or bad news is that they are 1/18 scale and die cast. But since they are basically all alike, you just have to change the decals. Check with Indycals.
  13. Beautifully done on a great subject.
  14. Found this ad from 1968. With depreciation of the dollar, things today should cost about 10 times as much as 1968.
  15. If you are looking for a better deal on HOK, contact Bob Dahl. He started repackaging the same pigments as HOK a few years ago. However, for some reason, his one ounce bottles are noticeably bigger and are not pre-thinned. Tell Bob Don (wisdonm) sent you.
  16. I was at Rickie Rods and bought some parts, sold a '56 Corvette Impala, ate sloppy Joe, and tried out the pistol grip air brush during John's Iwata demo. My tag even had wisdonm on it. Next month they want you to bring the # of started, but unfinished kits that you have.
  17. I was there Nick. I was the new guy. You should have said hi.
  18. Thanks for posting all those how-to pixs. Amazing work.
  19. There are some kits that claim to be PPIHC cars, but I see no race specific decals. This is the PPIHC official logo.
  20. Very well done. It was nice to see in person. Parts flowed very well without ghosting. I almost entered this class, but forgot to take the car along. Saved me a lot of embarrassment.
  21. http://www.ebay.com/sch/intermeccanica/m.html?item=231102827552&ViewItem=&ssPageName=ADME%3AL%3AEOISSA%3AUS%3A1123&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562 This guy has a great product at very fair prices. Many sizes available.
  22. My guess is that it's a pix of a dealer or the factory and the yellow car is the even rarer coupe model.
