  1. No guys, I said Jeff Burton not Ward......you can understand what Jeff says.
  2. I was just watching Trackside on Speed Channel and Rutledge was interviewing Jeff Burton backstage. When asked what he's been doing this week Jeff said he was building a model of a 70 Chevelle this morning. I wonder what other kits he has. Anyway, it is cool to know that he builds model cars.
  3. As the others have said JoHan did make a 63 Plymouth Fury, but it is not a Fury 3. Plymouth didn't even build a Fury 3 in 1963, the 1,2, and 3 suffex were added after the Fury model name was moved to the C body platform in 65, in 63 the Fury was built off of the B body platform which included the Savoy and Belvedere. The Fury was the top trim level of the 63 Plymouth B bodies.
  4. Try washing them in cold water.......that'll shrink'em right up.
  5. I just checked www.decalsbylucas.com and he doesn't have them listed but if you contact him he might consider doing that car. I'm pretty sure he's a member of the forum here too.
  6. How seriously do you take NASA ???
  7. Toyota isn't in the clear just yet......and in the case of Kyle Busch, there WAS an idiot behind the wheel. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/05/23/government-report-exonerating-toyota-flawed-watchdog_n_865590.html#2_government-report-exonerating-toyota-was-flawed-says-watchdog-group
  8. Really ??? It's not that different, in Japan there are no Lexus' (Lexi ???). All the cars that are badged as Lexus here are just Toyota's in the home market. And the accelerator problem was on more than just the Prius.
  9. Kyle Busch was ticketed today for wreckless driving 128 in a 45 MPH zone. He should have told the officer that the throttle stuck, he was in a Toyota after all.... http://msn.foxsports.com/nascar/story/NASCAR-driver-team-owner-Kyle-Busch-cited-for-reckless-driving-052411
  10. Actually I would take the L body Charger over the current Charger in a second. Make mine a GLHS though.
  11. It seems that Mr Camping's radio station is located between an auto repair shop and a palm reader. This might be the first time that the auto repair shop was the most honest business and the palm reader the best place to get advice..... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43126904/ns/us_news-life/?gt1=43001
  12. Raptor....Hmm, you might be on to something, maybe this was just a marketing gimmick by Ford to advertise that 4X4 truck.
  13. Uh no, I've never seen the movie.....I just hate the Cubs.
  14. Of course there was no Rapture (other than Blondie) today......Everyone knows the world won't end until after the Cubs win the World Series......(so we have NOTHING to worry about)
  15. This afternoon I was getting a server error when I tried to look at the forum. Now there haven't been any new posts in almost 4 hours. I posted this just to see if things are working.....
  16. I'm not sure I understand this post. If we're not supposed to try this at home where are we supposed to try this ?
  17. That T looks like a perfect time capsule to the early 60's. Is that 20 year old Testors black enamel dry yet ? I know it sometimes takes a while.
  18. Looks great Rob, I had this kit as a kid and I've been hunting ebay for another.
  19. Those old Revell gassers aren't easy kits to build but you did a great job on the Austin. I like the driver, the firesuit looks period correct.
  20. I'm not sure if anybody saw this article but you might want to take a look. Strangely it doesn't mention Photobucket, but I'm going to check their policies anyway. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/05/11/twitpic-copyright_n_860554.html?icid=main%7Chtmlws-main-n%7Cdl3%7Csec3_lnk2%7C212988
  21. This kit does share much tooling with the DoH kit, like the chassis and much of the engine. I have 2 of the mid-80's reissue of this kit when it was molded in red but otherwise the same. Like the Doh, it won't build stock but it is a cool kit and a great starting point for a street machine or updating for a pro touring car or even a vintage Nascar. The body is a 73/74 Charger and like the DoH the front wheel openings are flaired and not stock. IF I didn't already have 2 of them I would be all over this reissue as the 71-74 Chargers are my favorite cars. (disclaimer: my first car was a 71 Charger...) If you guys have any more questions I could pull out my kits and take pics.
  22. If I remember right Rusty ran more than 1 car with flames. The black one pictured above and at least 1 blue car. The part number from the Slixx decal sheet should be a clue as to what year the car was run, also some years the Taurus had rounder headlights rather than the triangular ones on the car pictured that's another clue to the year.
  23. Triumph Spitfire Triumph TR-6 Jaguar C Type Jaguar D Type Jaguar XK-SS (could we at least get the RoG reissued ???) BMW 2002 BMW 2.0 CSI (isn't that a crime show ???) MG-A MG-B MG Midget Jensen Interceptor Any of the Dual Ghia's Maseratti Birdcage Maseratti 4500 Lamborghini Murra Tattra !!!!!!!! Renault LeCar/ R-5 Bentley Continental
  24. I'm not sure why.....It's not like there are any heated discussions or controversy on this site........
