  1. Torker TF-X Torker TR 5.5 Redline RL-20
  2. I'm kinda surprised that nobody has mentioned the AMC Pacer yet. Those always get lots of bids on ebay and I forgot to include it on my first list, I'd buy a couple just for the 258 inline 6 to put into Jeeps. The Volare/Roadrunner is another I forgot about, we really need to see that one again. Somebody mentioned the AMT Capri, I wasn't sure how many people would remember that one but I am working on one right now.
  3. Put my vot in for the Monogram Classics. Dusenbergs, Packards, the Cord 812, V-16 Caddy, Rolls, Mercedes 540Ks. They might seem a little simplified by todays standards but they build easily and look great when finished. Now if there were only an Auburn Boattail Speedster to round out this series....
  4. Now you're talking about things less likely that a Cubs World Series.....
  5. LOL.....That one goes without saying...
  6. OK, right now we have threads going for the "best" and "worst" kits ever made. Lets start another list of the kits the most need to be reissued. For starters, lets leave out anythig by Jo Han, sure there are a lot of their kits we would all like to see again but for many the tooling is missing, damaged, or just doesn't exist anymore. I'm thinking more about Revell, AMT, MPC and Monogram kits that tooling is just sitting around doing nothing and could be put back in service if it were located and cleaned up. Round 2 is doing a great job by restoring the tooling for the Gremlin and bringing back the mid 70's Ford and Chevy vans but what else is still out there bringing big dollars on ebay or at swap meets. Here is my short list to start things off. Chevy Vega, like the Gremlin I would prefer to see it back dated to an earlier model year than the last issue but any year would do right now. Ford Pinto, both coupe and wagon. These always go past what I'll pay on ebay and I haven't seen one at a swap meet around here in a long time. Again any year will do. Sunbeam Tiger, the last time this was reissued was through the Blueprinter and I missed that one. Again, ebay prices me out when I see them and they are hard to locate at swap meets. Mid 80's Monogram Pro Stock kits, Camaro, Firebird, and T-Bird. As many Pro Mods as I see being built it would be nice to have these back so that even more could be built. I'm sure you guys will come up with many more than that.....
  7. I enjoyed watching the WIP of this build and I like it even more finished. I also enjoy your work with Pink Floyd........
  8. About 15 years ago or so I found a vacuum formed kit at a LHS. It was very simalar to the last picture you posted, it was an 85 Oldsmobile Cutlass Calais but the one I had was an Indy Pace Car version. A convertible, the seats that were included looked like MPC parts that I've seen in other mid-80's kits and there were 2 peice resin tires that looked to be cast from the old Monogram TRX's. It was a very crude kit and I bought it more as a couiosity, about 5 years ago I was showing it to another well know hobby shop owner and I never got it back from him, other wise I would post pics.
  9. Yeah, but he has the Lindberg Charger listed....
  10. R&R Resins also does/did both 63 Dodge and Plymouth wagons, although they aren't 100% correct. How has everyone missed the 06 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 ???
  11. Hardly "new" the date at the bottom of the posts are from 2 years ago.....
  12. Ya better do a good job on this one Bruce, its got my name on it.....
  13. It does seem strange that there appears to be rear glass pictured but no hardtop.
  14. I'll agree with you on the tires, Revell doesn't seem to like to tool up new tires unless they have to but the 1:1 Rat Roaster has a small block chevy not a big block.
  15. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Miniature-Sun-Maid-Raisin-Box-1950-/160544852913?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2561380bb1#ht_762wt_901 I don't even know what to say about this one....
  16. Trumpeter ??? No wonder it looks so slabsided.....I also question the number of slots and location of the holes. Sorry, couldn't resist.
  17. It sure would be nice to have the 59 Dodge back and I'm sure there are a few others that I would buy.
  18. Ya know today I got the Model Round-Up newsletter/email and it mentions that Round 2 has the rights to license all AMC products.....made me wonder what else we might see.
  19. Cool videos, fun place......Just don't try to take a F250 SD down the quad trails......again.....LOL !!!
  20. You would be correct and yes, you would also need to add a shim between the intake and heads. Is it really an issue ? Revell and Lindberg both use the same parts to represnt 383 and 440 engines because there is so little difference. IMO, it's not worh doing. If I was going to take the time to make a Chrysler B/RB engine more realistic in scale I would work on the front of the block/water pump area to more closely represent the 1:1 engine rather than the deck height.
  21. Nice build, I have one of these in my stash to build someday. I always felt like this was Dale's most iconic car.
  22. It happens but not that often. Revell has a great replacement parts program, go to their website and fill out the form with the kit number and part number and you should get a replacement (probably a set of 4) in about a week.
  23. Nice kit but those fadeaway fender pieces look like they are going to take a lot of work to blend in.
  24. I had no idea that Ferarri was trying to get into boats...... http://www.autoblog.com/2011/09/16/watch-this-ferrari-enzo-splash-into-the-atlantic-at-2011-targa-n/?icid=maing-grid10%7Chtmlws-main-bb%7Cdl5%7Csec3_lnk3%7C96217
