  1. JoHan ??? Seriously, they haven't cut any tooling in over 30 years........don't hold your breath. It would be nice to see a 65 Satelite from the Polar Lights 65 Coronet though.

  3. Harry, I doubt you'll find many postal workers on a model car forum........maybe try an online gun forum.
  4. Joe, which hobby shop do you work at ??? I've been to every hobby shop within about 20 miles of here........
  5. Ganassi running 1-2 with less than 10 minutes to go..........maybe I will do better in my fantasy racing leauge this year. ###### yellow !!!!!!!!!!
  6. Montoya seems to think he's at Martinsville..........
  7. I think george is just upset by the stereotype of a 59 Impala lowrider..........
  8. There were 3 body styles of MB G4's, all 3 were on display in Auburn, IN at the Kruse Auction in 2009.
  9. Moebius might be a better choice for a modern race trailer, to go along with the new International Lonestar..........(maybe we could try to get Art to suggest this to them......)
  10. Joe, name a street or road in Chicago that isn't in bad shape..........
  11. For everyone complaining that "all they sell are musclecars"........Last I checked some of the top sales this year are: 56 De Soto Fireflight convertible, 32 Chrysler Imperial, and 29 Lincoln L........those don't seem like musclecars to me.
  12. Anyone find it strange that the Falcon with the Indy engine which was hyped presale crossed the block durring a comercial ??? It only sold for $70000, I think a lot less than the seller or B-J was looking for in a "prime-time" slot.
  13. The 70 Super Bee has the 70 high back buckets, but with the wrong (for the Charger) pattern. It is gonna take some work on the front fenders and hood to get the 70 bumper to work........
  14. Not only does B-J charge a 10% buyers premium, they charge an 8% sellers premium.........yes, they make 18% on every sale.
  15. While I was watching tonight I saw 2 cars that I know I saw in person at the Mecum Auction here in St. Charles, IL last Sept. I know the 34 street rod P/U didn't sell at Mecum (didn't meet reserve), I'm not sure if the 47 Pontiac woodie sold or not, but both sold today for some rediculous money. I sure wouldn't go to B-J to buy a car, but if I was selling one, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
  16. And last year they advertised the "Buddy Holly" 58 Impala right up until auction time, and then claimed that they couldn't document it........ Matt Stone isn't nearly as annoying to me as Bob Varsha.
  17. Just so everyone knows, the trans in this (and the Lindberg kit) is a 904 Torqueflight. Chrysler never made a Slant 6 727 Torqueflight, although in Dodge trucks you could get a Slant with a 727, it was a small block bolt pattern with an adapter plate to mate with the Slant bolt pattern. Also Ian, if you need any reference pics of the Hyper Pack intake I have a Clifford repro and can provide pics and measurements.
  18. Am I the only one who finds this kit very ironic ??? Revell already released the 69 Yenko Nova (which never existed) and now they are "fixing" the kit with a bench seat and a non-SS grille (making another car that didn't officially exist...). At the same time Revell is selling a 68 Dodge Dart Hemi Super Stock (a car that DID exist) kit with so many mistakes it's laughable.
  19. Lighter than the Corvette ??? I would hope so, those fiberglass cars aren't the lightweights people think.........look at the curb weight on one. Still, doesn't seem any more "lethal" than what Mopar did with the 68 Hemi S/S Barracuda and Dart. Just as light and even more power.
  20. Strange, I thought that the Camaro and Nova used basicly the same front subframes and substructures........
  21. In the late 70's and early 80's this was considered the future of trucking......... ........or maybe it wasn't........
  22. .........incase you want to make your own rap music video........
  23. I'm sure you've heard of the Ford Mustang.........this is the Ford Discust-ang.........
  24. Nobody has mentioned the Hamiltons, Bobby Sr won a Nascar Truck championship and a few Cup races, Bobby Jr won a Busch championship. Or the Reutimanns, Buzzy is still racing and David has won at the Cup level.
