  1. I've heard that also, but forgot what the reasoning is behind it.
  2. Danny from Scenes Unlimited is a great guy with great products. I've known him personally for at least several months now.
  3. For a current project that I'm building, I need to know in inches how big is 1 1/8th, 1 9/16th, and 11 7/8th is in 1/24th scale. I have a 1/24th scale ruler but I don't know how to use it as I've been using "eyeball engineering over the years. Thanks.
  4. Lookin' real good Luis on that "bowtie" as I've built one 'bout eight years ago and it is a rather nice kit.
  5. My truck was also a "special order" and fits me to a T. As far as I know it'll be the last truck I'll be buying as I kept my previous truck for 13 1/2 years.
  6. Then you'll be a "happy camper" as it's always nice to take delivery of a new truck or car. I did just last year.
  7. That "Connie kit and bumper extension" is sweet as a friend of mine built one.
  8. Sounds good, however I'm lookin' for one of the pre-painted ones in Turquoise and White.
  9. I just used Testors Classic White for an interior and then sprayed it with Dull-Cote to take down the shine on the seats & door panels. You need to use white primer under it and I use Tamiya primers myself.
  10. You did a great job on both of those Chargers Randy, as I just love dem B-bodied Mopars!
  11. Interesting.
  12. The massacre in a Texas church this morning. What is this world coming too, where no one is SAFE anywhere?
  13. Was the place a "zoo" today, and how long did you have to wait in line to get in the store? Thanks.
  14. I have a Model A Coupe body, however I don't think that I got it from Norm but probably Jimmy Flintstone.
  15. Ditto as I also use Testors Dull-Cote over plated wheels to make them look like aluminum. This also works for front bumpers and Moon tanks which are never really chrome but made of spun-aluminum.
  16. Awesome news, congrats!
  17. I often pay "full price" to support my local hobby shop, as I do NOT want to see it fold like I've seen many other hobby shops do in the past.
  18. I have one in my "stash" but it is labeled Pro Street Comet. Probably just missing the drag decals as I haven't opened it as yet.
  19. NO problem at all as it's closer and cheaper to ship it to my house. While I'm a big fan of shiney, you did an excellent job on that roadster Justin as it looks so right.
  20. If it works for you, that's all that counts.
  21. Lookin' good, and BMF does improve with practice.
  22. I agree with you Rob, as even though I don't like rakin' leaves or clearing snow and cold temps. I don't think that after all my years living in the Midwest, I could be happier livin' somewhere else, especially south.
  23. I hafta agree with Bob as many so call modelers are focused on buying and selling kits. If we were to have sales allowed on this forum it will cause problems down the road as I can see it now.
  24. An AMT/SMP(?) '60 Buick convertible kit, and or a JoHan '70 Javelin kit would do it for me.
