  1. I'm likin' 'em both as I just love dem Mopars!
  2. Thanks Ken, BTW did you make the last Du Page show or no?
  3. Thanks, as that's what I wanted to do. How do I go about taking it from my Fotki album and posting it?
  4. Hey guys, I need help postin' photos from Fotki, anybody please? TIA
  5. Hmmm, don't know what I'm doin' wrong as I've posted a photo here from my new hosting site a few weeks ago. <a href='http://public.fotki.com/itsagas1320/mopars/072815-62.html'><img src='https://media.fotki.com/2v2us6bK8xAdjKg.jpg' style='border: 1px solid black;'></a><br><a href='http://www.fotki.com' style='font-size:12px; font-family:Verdana; text-decoration:none;'>Hosted on Fotki</a>
  6. Had trouble postin' a photo on this site earlier............................... https://media.fotki.com/2v2us6bK8xAdjKg.jpg
  7. A beautiful day here as well and I too took my ride out for a spin. Had the tires squealin' and the carb guzzlin' lots of high octane.
  8. I don't agree with that as a couple of years ago I pulled out a started kit out of the mothballs and it had some parts already painted. I located the Dupli-Color paint in my "stash" and finally painted the body 17 years later and it came out great. <a href='http://public.fotki.com/itsagas1320/models/dscn3294.html'><img src='https://media.fotki.com/2v2uiYEJhxAdjKg.jpg' style='border: 1px solid black;'></a><br><a href='http://www.fotki.com' style='font-size:12px; font-family:Verdana; text-decoration:none;'>Hosted on Fotki</a>
  9. Harry is still with us, and you don't have to look any further than your heart to see that.
  10. I sold on of those kits 'bout a year ago or so. Mine was mint and unbuilt and missing only the decals.
  11. MY problem with model building is not only needing more motivation, but I need to use my time more wisely.
  12. Good luck on your upcoming retirement Marty, as I've been enjoying mine. Now if I only could finish more model kits???
  13. I do this also when I paint, and I've never had a problem spraying Dupli-Color paints. I've been using Tamiya primer over the last several years and it seems to work great whether I use Dupli-Color, Testors, Black Gold, MCW, or Tamiya color coats and clears.
  14. One way to avoid, or lessen the orange peel is to spray closer and faster.
  15. I wore sunglasses back in '69 while I was drivin' at night, what a dumb thing to do. I was also PO'd at my girlfriend at the time, not that it makes it any better to do.
  16. I haven't opened it as yet as 'bout 60% of my kits are sealed.
  17. Great photos, and thanks!
  18. Times have changed greatly, and it doesn't look like they will get better down the road for the plastic model industry.
  19. I have the previous re-issue and have not opened it as yet, someday. I may have built the "Cracker Box" version back-in-the-day, however I'm not really sure.
  20. Wow Gerry, your new digs look great and I wish you and yours the very best in your relocation. Nick
  21. I like COLOR. Check out the vehicles at the next stoplight you come to, around here the vehicles are either black, white or silver.
  22. I ordered a new truck last year and yes I like the chrome. I've seen trucks with black grilles and body colored bumpers, and it's not for me. I'm used to chrome as I've seen it on the 50 cars, the 60's, and so on. I'm very well used to it and like it a lot.
