I used to have an inventory list, but for about three years I was "thinin' the herd" and now I can pretty much tell off the top of my head which kits I have, and which kits I don't. It works for me, and besides I'm too busy for paperwork.
Well yeah I had to wipe off the rain drops a few times on my car, but it was a really great and memorable event, and I'm glad that I was there. I'm lookin' forward to attending next year's show with or without my car.
Yeah I have one and also the decals I believe as I got them some time ago after seeing the pickup at a gasser meet in Ohio. Don't know when or if I'll ever get to it, so send me a PM if your interested in it.
Wow great photos and I wish that I could get down there and see that display. I've only been to the Petersen Museum once. Back in the late summer or early fall of '67 I had the opportunity to talk to Dan Gurney and also watch him race at the Grand Prix of the United States in Watkins Glen, New York. It was an awesome time.
Lookin' good as I used to own a '69 Bee back-in-the-day. I had it doin' 130 mph and I was holdin' it back so it wouldn't get away from me, and it was only a 383 Magnum car.
I've been a paid subscriber to Photobucket for a few years now, and it is "hot or miss" when I want to post my photos on this site or other sites. Grrrr!
Looks like you had a great time, and the photos of that beautiful country are just awesome. Glad to hear that you're off the smokes as that is a VERY wise choice. I made that choice back in '84, and if I didn't I doubt if I would be here today.
