While the Ford F-150 is a popular seller year after year, exactly how many model kits of a late model F-150 do you really think would sell? Do you think that all the owners of 1:1 F-150's would actually go out and buy a kit of their ride and even build it? I really doubt it and honestly don't think that the model companies would "break even" if they were to produce a late model kit of the F-150. It takes a LOT of moolah to produce a new model kit.
Hmmm, I haven't encountered that problem as yet as I do my drilling after the body is painted, cleared, and polished. Guess I'd better start doing it before I paint. Thanks for the heads up.
Hmmm, just talked to my neighbor yesterday and his two kids are in college, and he and his wife are splitting up? That kinda shocked me, however in this day and age I shouldn't be surprised about anything.
I already have that Pro Modeler Daytona kit, so the only Revell kit that I'm interested in is the 3rd Quarter release of the '70 Charger kit. And of course I need another model kit like I need another hole in my head.
Mopar late 60's antennas are three piece which I do not care to replicate. However any antenna is better than no antenna. I'm likin' your Daytona and an antenna base would improve the looks of the antenna. The Grandt Line could slip right over your antenna.
I use the Grandt Line O Scale 1 1/2" nut w/4" Cast Iron Washers-Cored for .020 Wire which are model railroad parts for the antenna bases and #12 guitar string for the antennas. Here are a couple of them............................
