So how 'bout racin' on the streets? Oh never mind, as this isn't the 60's and early 70's anymore. Times have changed.

My wife is good with my building model cars and collecting die-cast cars also. She even let me put a good sized curio cabinet in the family room and another in the living room to display them. Of course she has a good sense of smell and can tell if I've been gluing or painting in the house. LOL! Several years ago she insisted that I buy an !:1 car for myself, and she's good with me going to cruise nights and car shows without her.

I tend to agree with you there, as I have another hobby and spend much more than what I spend on model cars.

I was lucky as my A-pillars were not bent, and I really don't mind the metal axles at all. When I finish my model and put it on the display table at our club meeting or in my display case, no one can see the metal axles, so what's the beef?

A lot of builders use /GS designation even though the engine is not supercharged, and this is wrong.

I had talked to Ed Sexton today from Revell and he said the new '70 Charger kits should be tricklin' on the shelves 'bout mid Sept, and available all over in October.

Don't care what he would say as everyone has their own opinion about things. Some guys like their cars factory stock, while others like theirs Day 2, and others may like mild or wild customs. So it really doesn't matter what Mark Gustavson would say.

I was in Arizona last June and it was a bit "toasty" at the time with record temps I believe. But of course it's a "dry heat."

In the fall we get cooler temps, but then I have to rake and dispose of leaves, then freezing weather and snow which I don't care for either. I really would like to see summer lengthened by another month and of course winter shortened by a month also. Wishful thinkin' I know.

Very nice build on that Caddy as I just picked up mine today, and I picked up a can of Purple-Licious a couple of weeks ago for it.

I picked up my Foose Caddy today at my LHS and upon opening the kit, the A pillars look PERFECT on my body.

Looks beautiful as I just love dem Mopars! Just one question though, on a 1:1 car like what you've built how do the large wheels & tires turn without hitting the inner front fenders?

I applied to be a "greeter" at Walmart in Honolulu about seven years ago and haven't heard back from them as yet, oh well?

I've seen a guy drivin' an 18 wheeler with a newspaper over his steering wheel, and another driver doin' a crossword puzzle over his steering wheel while drivin' and even had the dome light on so that he could see. Our highways are not safe anymore and haven't been for years, and now with iPhones, and other high tech gadgets it is even WORSE.
