  1. VERY nice build on that Foose truck Jim, as that is a really sweet lookin' truck.
  2. While I haven't seen the Don Yosst video for a few years, I thought that the mix ratio was more like 66%/33% if I'm not mistaken. Also, I would let the paint dry thoroughly and then polish out the body using 4,000 thru 12,000 grits before washing it and spraying my clear. I also use a tack rag before I start spraying the body as well. I hope this helps.
  3. Great job on that 60's classic Deuce David, as it brings back memories to a lot of us. Wish I still had mine.
  4. What you say about advertising pays the bills is very true, especially when some magazines can offer a subscription for only $1 an issue. That's dirt cheap and the advertisers want YOU to look at their ads.
  5. I'm really likin' that '65 Belvedere Wagon, as I just love dem Mopars!
  6. The color I painted that '69 Coronet is Blue Fire Metallic by MCW.
  7. It's not, it is Acapulco Blue.
  8. Wow Craig, you're having some serious surgery. Of course I wish you good luck, a SPEEEEDY recovery, and don't forget to do your therapy either.
  9. I use a wooden stick or toothpick to stir my bottled paints, and for my rattle cans I just "shake 'n spray." This works for me, as I don't have to allow any space for a paint shaker or use any electricity either.
  10. Happy Birthday Rob.
  11. If you're lookin' for B-5 Blue, I got mine in a spray can from MCW Automotive Finishes.
  12. Yes I've used those brakes only on a much larger scale many times working in a number of sheet metal shops over the years.
  13. A friend of mine has his '67 Mustang in that color.................................
  14. Very nice job on that convert Gene. Hmmm, I have a Modelhaus '60 Olds kit in my stash as I learned how to drive in a boat like that, only it was a 4-dr sedan.
  15. I agree, and I'm lookin' forward to ordering some of his new items that haven't been released as yet.
  16. I believe you want Acapulco Blue which is what this color is, and it is a lacquer and it came from Testors if I'm not mistaken.
  17. May he R.I.P. and I'm partial to the '66 Batmobile.........................................
  18. That's sad news and may he R.I.P. I'm hopin' to see Vic Sr, next month at the Meltdown Drags, we'll see?
  19. I already have the wheels, tires, and dog dish hob caps from Joseph on my recent '69 Coronet R/T build.
  20. Even though I have enough resin and aftermarket parts, I can see myself ordering the six pack carbs and manifold as well. I just love dem Mopars!
  21. I looked at a couple '70 Coronets for sale several years ago when I was in the market for a ride, but I couldn't "pull the trigger" to buy one. I really like the looks of the '69 Coronets better myself.
  22. Very nice job on that Henry J.
  23. Just the "f" word? You should've seen George Carlin back-in-the day, as he was rude & crude but very funny.
  24. Maybe some drivers are in a hurry to see God???
