How can anyone enjoy Frankin and Danbury Mint cars in boxes??? I keep mine on display in a 6' tall curio cabinet with lights and mirrored backwall. The original boxes are stored in the garage in case I need to ever move, sell, or trade them.
Yesterday's dashboards were very simple with 12 or less buttons, knobs, levers, etc. Some of today's new vehicles have 40+ buttons, knobs, levers, etc. Modern technology is destroying our simple quality of life.
The white primer seem to make the colors "pop" a lot more than they grey primers. Therefore as said before, I only use grey primers under black or silver colors.
The only drag racing I watch is nostalgia drag races as drag racing was a lot of fun back in the mid-60's to early 70's. Even the "big name" drag racers didn't have "cookie cutter" cars like they have today. And no Asian cars were on the tracks either back then.
That's a great project you're undertaking as I really like the stock cars of the late 50's and early 60's. The cookie cutter cars of today, you can have. Sorry I can't help you with colors as I don't build stock cars, NASCAR, etc.
Great video as I've liked trains for many years and rode the rails in Alaska and Canada a couple years ago. I also enjoy Lionel trains with my grandson.
What please me today was how very well behaved my 3 year old behaved in church this morning. He usually behaves pretty well in church, but today he was exceptional. Wow.
Worked on my truck today, raked leaves and cut the grass and I ran out of gas. No not my lawn mower, but me. Guess my body is aging faster than I though that it would. Getting older is not easy at times.
I've used Spaz-Stix a few times on both resin and plastic parts and really like it. I use two coats over gloss black enamel. Make sure that you "mist" the Spaz-Stix on and don't apply it wet.
