  1. We have companies around here that do the same thing as people have to get in their cars and drive off the company property to smoke. Sure your car is private property, but it's on the company's property so all rules apply.
  2. This is the best I can do as far as photos of my seat belts. You can see the shoulder harnesses in this photo............
  3. Good luck as it's a tough road to travel, but it will be well worth your efforts.
  4. That's a GREAT plan, and I hope that you stick to it. You won't be sorry.
  5. That's an excellent tool and I use mine quite often and have been for years. Also works great when foiling and peeling off the excess after trimming.
  6. Why??? Modelhaus offered that "68 Coronet R/T for the longest time. I'm glad that I got one a couple of years ago. I know many guys want a '68 Coronet plastic kit, and snubbed the Modelhaus offering.
  7. ALL nice, as it looks like you had a good year when it comes to model building. Congrats!
  8. I quit smoking on Thanksgiving of 1984 as I couldn't puff anymore. Shortly thereafter I was diagnosed with double pneumonia. Although I really haven't gained any weight, it sure feels great not to smoke anymore. My better half has given up smoking several years ago also.
  9. Lookin' good as your COPO Nova turned out well. I bought that kit awhile back just for the engine to put in my '69 Nova SS build.
  10. I heard that Corvette is a great kit and I've seen the 1:1 car that's on the box a number of times.
  11. I've heard that they were great kits, however I haven't even opened my '29 Roadster or '30 Coupe kits as yet. I have enough projects going on right now.
  12. I don't think that my local Hobby Lobby ever got the '30 Model A Coupe yet, and I doubt that they will now.
  13. My local Hobby Lobby still seems to have the '29 Model A Roadster kit on their shelves.
  14. The news media is keeping that "hush, hush" just like a lot of things we Americans should know.
  15. WEALTH If you can go to your place of worship without fear that someone will assault or kill you, then you are luckier than 3 billion (that's right) people. If you have a full fridge, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep, you are wealthier than 75% of the world's population.
  16. May the "princess" R.I.P.
  17. I've been using masking tape for seat belts for years. I cut the tape to the widths I need and stick them on a piece of wax paper and hand paint the strips the color I want. When dry I peel them off, thread them through the hardware and fold over the ends. I'll then cut them to exact length and use a dab or two of 5-Minute epoxy to glue them to the seats. This seems to work well for me.
  18. When I was working to feed my family, pay the mortgage, and pay the bills I needed to work the days between Christmas and New Years. Although I sometimes took the day after Christmas off to play with the kids new toys before they break them. LOL!
  19. Lookin' good Randal as you did a really nice job on that "bowtie."
  20. Like 'em both, and I just love dem Mopars!
  21. I've met you a couple of times at Toledo Bill many years ago, and your work has always been "over-the-top" and it still is today.
  22. The Grand Canyon is still breathtaking as my better half and I along with some friends were out there this past June. Enjoy!
  23. Very nice builds, all of them.
  24. I remember that ad, however I got out of the hobby in 1990 and stayed out 'til 1997-'98.
