  1. Occupational therapy has to do with a person's skills in getting around the house on their own.
  2. I thought so as I'm currently workin' on a B-Body Mopar kit and was wondering if the rails were black or not. Thanks.
  3. Now yer talkin', care to share?
  4. VERY nice job on that A-Bone, Erik.
  5. I stopped by my LHS today and picked up the Revell '30 Ford Model A Coupe that I had them hold for me 'til I got around to picking it up. Don't think that I'll be seein' anymore of those kits for sale for awhile.
  6. A Twin- turbocharged intercooled 2.7 V-6 can be had on some Ford trucks also.
  7. Wow Yuri, I started that kit earlier this year but right now I'm workin' on another kit. Your Caddy DeVille convertible came out just beautiful!
  8. Great job on that street rod, I'm lovin' it!
  9. Very nice work on that Dart so far, as I just love dem Mopars!
  10. I had a small window for a fall vacation, and found out today that it would have to be outside that window. That sucks as I already had plans before and after that "window." Oh well, life can be full of disappointments at times.
  11. I'm lovin' it Steve, and maybe when he's 'bout 6 I'll see if he would be interested in buildin' some snap kits??? If not, that's okay too as I got into this hobby for myself way back when, and I'm still enjoyin' it.
  12. I just found the Revell '30 Ford Model A Coupe at my LHS via the phone this morning and had it "put aside" for me. I probably should have asked if they had anymore???
  13. Huh? I thought that the thought for today was the 1929 St. Valentines Day Massacre that happened in Chicago.
  14. My grandson is only three, so he'll have to wait awhile. I haven't even showed him my "stash" yet. Of course he's doing very well with the Lionel trains at Christmas time, even though Lionel recommends their sets for 8 year old and older. I let him run the train several times this past Christmas, and he seemed to listen well to my instructions and was able to run the train without running it off the tracks. He also is learning to back up the train onto a spur and pick up more cars too.
  15. While I've never as yet ordered anything from Steve, I hear that he has great products to offer and I have seen a couple of his builds as well. It's good that he's "up front" 'bout taking a hiatus, and I have plenty of stuff & parts to build 'til he returns to his casting business.
  16. Great job on that Ranchero and excellent color choice also.
  17. While the big block 383/440 or Hemi engine have LOTS of power, they're like "boat anchors" in a pony car like the 'Cuda. On a 1:1 car, just relocating the battery from the front of the car to the trunk, one can actually feel the difference in weight reduction.
  18. I thought that I saw the Molotow pens and refills at the Amazon site.
  19. I'm just glad that I have one of those '59 Dodges buried in my "stash" somewhere. As far as it ever being produced is a BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH shoot.
  20. I wanted to see that movie with my better half, but she went and saw it with her sisters. Oh well.
  21. I've built that kit back-in-the- day and I don't recall any problems with it at all, especially any trimming.
  22. Thanks Bill as I enjoyed the car very much while I had it as it was lots of fun in many ways. I even rebuilt and modified the four carbs at one time, and I was able to synchronize them as well. In the fall of '69 the car and I were caught in the middle of a three car accident. I then bought a '69 Super Bee.
  23. I bought one brand new and "made to order" in 1965. It had the 140 h.p. engine with four carbs, a 4 speed trans, and a posi rear end. Ralph Nader had said that they were "unsafe at any speed," however I had mine doin' 110 mph in the pouring rain without a quiver, back in the fall of '67 as I was on my way to New York for the Grand Prix of the United States. I drag raced my Corvair on the street/strip, did a Gymkana, and also had it custom painted and had it in a major Chicago auto show in '68 I believe.
  24. Bleed through from the colored plastic? No problem as I spray the colored plastic first with Tamiya Silver Leaf, then my primer coats, and then my color and clear coats. So far while doing this I've never had any plastic colors bleed through my paint jobs.
