  1. I use the Detailer after my primer coats and before the color coats and it seems to work just fine. I simply brush it on the lines with a small brush, and wipe any wash that got on the body with a tissue while it's still wet.
  2. Beautiful job on that "bowtie" build, just beautiful!
  3. Thank you Cato as Harry is in my prayers daily.
  4. Wow those prices are gettin' up there. I'm glad I have a fairly nice resin '30 Model A Coupe body to use on the '29 Model A kit.
  5. Can I apply embossing powders with paint just like I do with funny fur, or no? Thanks.
  6. That Model A Coupe is comin' along really nice Dennis, excellent work!
  7. You make a good point there about the sequels, however when the money stops, so will the sequels.
  8. I have no idea of which car I won with, as it was a very long time ago and I've built many models since then. I do remember that I had won a Pasche air brush at that contest also.
  9. I'm likin' your wagons and may be interested in one or two when you start to sell the resin copies. What is the name of your company? Thanks.
  10. Very nice builds, all of them. I was fortunate enough to visit the Petersen Museum back in 2007 and they had a large display of Ed Roth's cars there. I also got to meet him as he presented me with a trophy at a model car contest in the early 80's. Too bad I didn't think to get his autograph back then. Oh well.
  11. That may be true, but they're still making MONEY after 7 movies, and that is the "name of the game." It has nothing to do with story lines, or whether 27 people don't like the series as It's all about money.
  12. Thanks for the great music Chuck, and may you R.I.P.
  13. A beautiful job on that '70 Road Runner kit as that's one of my upcoming builds this year. I just love dem Mopars!
  14. For all of you F & F fans, get ready for some high octane/high speed action as the latest release in the series will be at local theaters on April 14th as I saw the trailer last night.
  15. I was watching the Fast Five movie on TV tonight and saw the trailer for the upcoming The Fate of the Furious which will be at theaters on April 14th. I'll be lookin' for plenty of high octane/high speed action.
  16. Use your 40% off coupon at your local Hobby LOBBY and get your Tamiya primers from them.
  17. Thanks for the music Chuck as you will be missed. May you R.I.P.
  18. While I use Black Gold (House of Color) paints sometimes, I use Tamiya primers for all my work these past few years.
  19. I do remember that car from a VERY long time ago. Dave was a great builder at the time.
  20. Thanks, and I won't be making the Countryside show tomorrow. After the Cedarville show last Sunday, the Du Page show last month, and the club auction today, I had enough. Besides I have 3 weeks to finish my new build for the upcoming Milwaukee NNL next month on the 8th.
  21. Here's a bit O' green for St. Paddy's Day.............................................................
  22. I've got the Revell kit in my "stash," but I haven't opened it yet although I have thought about starting it a few times.
  23. Waking up in the morning is a good sign, and I thank the Lord for it each and every morning.
  24. Dan, I remember when you and your better half attend our AMG club meeting earlier this month, and I had a chance to look over your website full of goodies. Guess I'll have to try some out in the near future. I hope the move is workin' out for the two of you. Nick
  25. Very good, how old is he? Mine is only 3 1/2 so I'm gonna wait awhile before I introduce him to model cars. Of course I already have him running the Lionel train set at Christmas time.
