High octane

I also sent in an order to Fireball last week for some carbs. I have a few resin ones that aren't so good, so I decided to get some from Fireball as I've never been disappointed with his products.

Drove to a hobby shop with a good friend of mine 'bout 40 miles away and picked up some freight cars for my grandsons Lionel train set. Stopped at Hooters for some wings for lunch on the way home. I could use more days like this.

Have you checked with Pro Tech?

I like your way of thinking Mark, as I'm also not a "spot on" type of guy either. I enjoy this hobby very much and have done so for years without burdening myself wit 100% accuracy. Other modelers feel different about this and it's their choice.

Great job on that Chevelle build Mark. I had one built a long time ago but probably sold it when I got out of the hobby for awhile. I'd like to build another one, however I already have lots of stuff to build.

You're right about that because if I didn't quit smokin' when I did, I most likely be a "goner" by now.

I was able to be accepted for SS disability the first time around. As stated before, I came "armed" with doctors reports, business cards, and lots of info about my disabilities at the time. A lawyer told me to call him only if I got turned down, as they can do nothing for you on your first visit.

Very nice job done on your Batmobile. I made one a few years ago using the pre-painted body, and I still used 'bout 18 different colors for detailing. I really enjoyed checking the reference photos while building mine and detailing it.

I write lots of notes on my calendars like birthdays, doctors appointments, car shows and cruise nights, etc. And yeah I save my old calendars in case I want to look back at something that happened or when I did it.

If you apply for disability, make sure you bring ALL the paperwork you can from your recent health issues. If you're denied, then you'll need to get a lawyer. Do not get a lawyer first because it won't help at all. Good luck my friend.

I do use 3M brand tan colored masking tape for just about all my masking as well as seat belt material.

Very nice job on that body. I just found one of those bodies that I had purchased from MCW several years ago.

Do you have a photo of the hood scoop used on the A-990 car?

I stopped at my LHS today and bought some Lionel train stuff for my grandson's train. Tomorrow the tree comes down and the track expands for a couple of weeks. All aboard!
