  1. They seem to plow the streets and roads by me usually within a couple hours of the snowfall, and have been doing it for years. And no, I don't live in a "high rent" district either.
  2. No heat in your basement, or not enough? A HVAC guy can take care of that for you so that you're comfortable all year round.
  3. What does having a Jeep have anything to do with it, don't they plow the streets by you?
  4. I don't recall anyone casting those and not Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland either.
  5. Have you checked hardcover publications like Super Stock by Larry Davis, or Proving Ground by Jim Schild, or Maximum Performance by Jim Schild also? These books are great with lots of photos and text and I was lucky enough to purchase them when they first came into publication. They might still be available as used books if you look around. I hope that this helps.
  6. Nice build, and back-in-the-day I remember flower cars as being Cadillac's.
  7. I wouldn't like living there in the summer as the temps are a bit too high for me. I know that it's a "dry-heat" but not for me. I was just out there again this past June and may(?) be out there again this comin' March.
  8. Somebody did a late model Road Runner body, and I think that it was competition Resins. check with them.
  9. No depression is not fun, and it happens to more people than we realize. There are many reasons for depression and many cures also, of course not all depression is or can be curable either. Hopefully you'll make the Christmas club meeting tomorrow and stay for the whole meeting, and I pray that your surgery goes well on the 14th.
  10. I just knew someone would bring up this topic soon. With my getting older and my asthma, snow removal is getting harder and harder for me. I may have to hire someone, we'll see?
  11. It is a big block Olds motor in that AMT Willy's kit, but I really like the 392 Hemi motor that comes in the Revell '41 Willys kit as I've used that motor for kit bashing a couple of times.
  12. Looks like you're doing a great job on that "bowtie" Scott as that is a really nice kit also. I bought one when it first came out to snag the big block and put it in my Nova SS build.
  13. I don't think they're the ones from the JoHan ReCharged kit, but the cast iron ram's horn manifolds.
  14. Sounds like the "ram horn" manifolds to me?
  15. You mean the AMT/ERTL Buyer's Choice 1969 Dodge Charger 500 kit # 38015 does not have the correct body?
  16. Wow, that's a very generous donation. Of course it is the season for giving, and keep those prayers comin'.
  17. Oh yeah, you just had to remind me 'bout that too. Thanks.
  18. What Toner283 says is true, and if I'm not mistaken I've only seen one of these superchargers in over 50 years.
  19. Life is tough all over, believe me.
  20. I like Police cars as long as I'm not in them.
  21. While I'm sure that with the closing of Modelhaus that it will be a huge gap in the model car hobby, but the hobby will still go on or will many modeler's just hang up their tools and quit???
  22. You did an awesome job on that Poncho Carl, and great color choices as well.
  23. I was there also as I've been to all 8 Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals shows. By the way the 'Cuda is not a "muscle car" but rather a "pony car." Go back to the mid-60's and you'll see what I mean.
  24. It SURE looks like orange to me as well........................................................
  25. I've posted 'bout ten photos from Photobucket yesterday and had no problems.
