  1. A couple more photos as it seems as I have triplicates of the first photo
  2. I didn't wait for Revell's '57 Ford gasser as I finished mine for the Milwaukee NNL yesterday. It has a 427 cu.in. engine from the Thunderbolt kit, as well as a reworked front suspension from the '41 Willys kit. Back-in-the-day like in the mid-60's the gasser class was called Gas Coupes & Sedans. No wagons, no convertibles, no sports cars.
  3. You forgot to ad that the state won't be sending out notices for emission testing anymore either Harry.
  4. Awesome drawing, you've got talent for sure.
  5. SHOULD have 1 year left, however if Don and Carol catch up on their orders and don't want to be "under the gun" anymore, don't be surprised if they close the doors. Just sayin.'
  6. Hopefully yes, but don't hold your breath.
  7. Ditto! Glad to have you back Jim.
  8. Just turn up your thermostat tonight Harry. Supposed to start getting nicer nice week.
  9. Tomorrow is the Milwaukee NNL and I hope to see a lot of you there, and a good time will be had.
  10. Wow, that's quite a project Lance and it looks like you're on the right track. Looks great so far.
  11. Brakes???
  12. I'm likin' your Nomad build a lot, great job!
  13. Barry, that's a great site as I've seen in before awhile back. Thanks for reminding me.
  14. Being scare is understandable Jim, but taking care of our health is very important if we still want to enjoy life. Good luck to you.
  15. Lookin' real good Bill. I had finished the Batmobile and I have a Futura kit in my stash. I just don't know when I'll get to it.
  16. What irks me to no end and it just doesn't seem to stop, is the way our auto industry has changed over the last several years and is part of the "global economy." Our auto makers are continually moving their plants to other countries, leaving the skilled American workers without jobs and standing in the unemployment lines. It's no wonder that Detroit filled for bankruptcy after what our auto makers havevdone to that city. And it's not only the auto makers but other companies too. It's sad news for today's working force.
  17. Yes he did as I have a couple of those sheets as well as The Professor decals.
  18. Ditto, while I wont be buying a bunch of them, I will get one instead of the newly released sedan.
  19. It sure does, sometimes I can't believe how fast it goes.
  20. Very nice job on that build Jim, as I was lucky enough to see one at the Chicago Auto Show back in February.
  21. Wow, some really nice cars posted here, as I haven't been into slot-car racing for many years. Maybe I'll get back into it in the future as I have a young grandson who likes cars??? A few members of a model car club I belong to are into slot-cars also.
  22. I've only used Future once to coat a canopy for an airplane model. As far as polishing and waxing, I'm not too sure about that as I always thought that Future was the "final coat."
  23. George was a great guy as he came to the Chicagoland area on a yearly basis for a custom car show at the Volo Auto Museum, as well as other car events here.
  24. Welcome to the forum George, as this is a great place to be.
  25. I'm already building a '57 Ford gasser, and it should be done this week for the Milwaukee NNL on Sat.
