High octane

I've been wanting to attend that show, but it falls on the same weekend as the Milwaukee NNL, which is where I was at yesterday.

The show was great with the weather sunny and 65 and LOTs of model cars/trucks on the tables (776). A large raffle, music, different model car clubs represented, and great camaraderie. I'm already lookin' forward to next years event. Yes the RPM club made a strong showing with 16 members. I sure hope that I can get to the NNL North, next year maybe???

There'll be a lot of Wisconsin builders in Waukesha on Saturday for the Milwaukee NNL. Of course there will be many builders from other states as well. Hope to see some of you guys there.

I haven't been there since '09 and maybe I'll swing by there this fall or next spring according to my better half, who loves to plan vacations.

For years I've been using Devcon 5-Minute Epoxy for most of my gluing and also glass too. It has a strong bond and dries clear.

A less exotic engine might have a carburetor(s) or maybe fuel injection. Back in the 60's there was a class called gas dragsters.

Art is right as some merchandise like from the Dukes of Hazzard, Star Wars, Star Trek, etc. have VERY good track records as far as sales go, while a lot of others are just "hit or miss."

Charles, I was talkin' 'bout the Goodguys Show on the whole, not the model contest. I've started goin' to the Goodguys shows back in 2000 and also became a member as well. I believe that after 2011-12(?) I had let my membership lapse. It was good while it lasted.

While I've been to many Goodguys shows and used to be a long time member, they have changed quite a bit over the years and not for the better in my book.

I've used Jet Exhaust several times and think that it looks good.

Rent a Ferrari. If I didn't like the shows or the gambling, I would have no reason to go to Vegas.

I've had a number of pieces chrome plated by Bob and they came out lookin' great! While I myself am a "rattle can" man, I know of many guys who use Bob's paint, and their models look "Killer!"
