  1. ONLY two more weeks 'til the Milwaukee NNL 23 on Saturday April 11th. I heard that Rod Maskiw and Dennis Ezmerlian will be drivin' down from Winnipeg, Canada again for this show. It should be a lot of fun as it has been every year in the past. Hope to see some of you forum members there.
  2. Welcome to the forum Tod as this is a great place to be.
  3. One of the nicest set of wire wheels/tires came in the Monogram Corvette America kit.
  4. When there's nothing really good on most channels to watch, is when I watch my recorded TV shows or pop in one of my DVD's and then make some popcorn and enjoy!
  5. Well said Richard.
  6. I've got a great modeling friend and if I need something he gives it to me, and I do the same. He gave me a Modelhaus gift certificate for Christmas and with it I picked out a '57 Olds 98 hardtop kit. Wow, nice gift.
  7. That's sad news Carl, very sorry to hear that as I have three long time friends who go way back to 56,50, and 40 years.
  8. Nice job on that Merc.
  9. Nice job on that Imperial Alan, and I just love dem Mopars!
  10. Nice build and color choice on that Raptor. If you ditched the paper, you could always brush off the dirt on the bottom of the tires.
  11. I take a low dose sleeping pill and have no problems. I did get off the sleeping pills for awhile, and then my tinnitus really "kicked up" and I had to go back on them.
  12. I have a friend that has all of the Aurora 1/16th kits in his "stash."
  13. Bill, I'm retired from the Sheet Metal industry after 35 + years. I also used to like my music loud enough to "feel it." Standing close to ultra high horsepower drag cars and drag boats with the engines running didn't help matters either. If only I knew back then?
  14. FULLPOWERGARAGE, so you have tinnitus also? Welcome to the club. While not a good thing at all, there's nothing you can do about it except do your best to ignore it.
  15. Will any of you be at the S.L.A.M. meeting tomorrow morning? I think there'll be a paint demo, and also our yearly auction.
  16. My wife asked me if I wanted one, a real one and I said no as I wouldn't spend that kind of money for a truck. Guess I'm too practical.
  17. That's exactly why they're in business, for a PROFIT.
  18. I only used the album for my left over and aftermarket decals. The decals that come with my kits stay in their respective boxes, and a lot of boxes are still factory sealed. 19. Kevin, you really didn't save any money by just carrying liability insurance as now you can't get the damage repaired. I have a 12+ year vehicle that I depend on and carry full insurance. Last year the vehicle was hit and I got it repaired as I don't want to be driving around in a "wreck."
  20. Congrats and good luck, as I know a lot of IPMS members in these parts.
  21. After a salesperson telling you how good the product is that you are interested in buying, they also want you to buy an extended warranty. That's like betting that the new product you choose to buy is going to break down. I think that the stores should have a casino license as that is "flat out" gambling to me.
  22. Bob's paint and also his chrome plating is great stuff, as I've seen many models painted with his paint and a number sporting chromed parts from his service as well.
  23. I bought and started the Dick Landy Charger kit when it was released in '99 and finished it on Dec. 31st of 2012. Boy I really drag my butt on that build.
  24. Yeah I like it, it's beautiful and I just love dem Mopars! Great job Eric.
  25. Missing Link had one, but it's been discontinued. I wouldn't mind havin' one myself.
