  1. I've been using Testors rattle can paints for years, and don't ever recall having any problems with their products.
  2. Arnie used a louvered hood, and it's available at Replicas & Miniature of Maryland.
  3. I have one that I've already painted the body, and it sits in a box waiting to be built. I may have to get out my airbrush after 15 (?) years or so to paint the Tri-tone interior.
  4. Your Dart is lookin' good as I had met Larry a couple of years ago at someone's garage that had a large Mopar collection. I just love dem Mopars!
  5. I would take it back where you bought it for a refund.
  6. I believe that an electric fan came in one of the Revell Deuce kits also.
  7. Nice haul, as I remember seeing that tool set way back when.
  8. Congrats to all who have quit smoking, as it is a MAJOR accomplishment and helpful in collecting more pension and social security checks.
  9. Great job on those drawings. Early in life I had a knack for drawing and even went to classes at the Art Institute of Chicago but I never really pursued it. I wish I had.
  10. That Willys is lookin' good, real good.
  11. That sounds like a daily occurrence Tom, with the amount of cars and trucks on our roads each and every day.
  12. That ride is not "street legal" around here.
  13. Oh how well I know the feeling of thrown rocks/pebbles on a windshield.
  14. 13 is just a number, just like our age.
  15. I don't have time to "correct" model kits, as I just build them as they come. I don't have an calipers or micrometers or specs, as I build model cars for FUN.
  16. Congrats Wayne as that is great news. I gave it up a long time ago, and I am very happy 'bout it.
  17. It is real nice, but kinda pricey.
  18. I'm not as I prefer the Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals Show, held on the weekend before Thanksgiving at the same location.
  19. I have one of those in my "stash" and who knows when I'll get to building it?
  20. Yes I'm that old and remember when that kit first came out. I was a great kit in those days and it would look good in my "stash" as well. Would I build it? I did back then, now maybe I'd just keep it for nostalgia sake? Of course all kits were made to be built, so it's a tough call. I have an AMT '59 Lincoln Continental Convertible kit in my display case, as back in the day it was my very first one-piece body kit. No, I didn't keep it all these years but found another on EVIL-bay to put in my case.
  21. How many of those kits sold, did you buy Joe?
  22. It's not a waste of time, and works great for me.
  23. Stay tuned for scenes from our next weeks show. Hmmmmm?
  24. Looks like I'm gonna hafta try some of that myself. Thanks guys.
  25. Good luck to you and your wife Mark, as your life is about to change big time. You'll also need patience as well as luck.
