  1. I took up "space" when I was in school.
  2. What's missing some parts or even a body out of ONE kit when you have a couple hundred kits in your stash? C'mon.
  3. Mike, I wish that my March was as good as your is, as mine is worse and I'll just have to deal with it.
  4. I only open 'bout 1/3 or 33% of my model kits, the rest are still factory sealed. The sealed kits make it easier to sell or donate to events later on. Besides I pretty much know what's inside the box.
  5. What irked me today and everyday is people walking with their cell phone and not watching where they're going.
  6. Sure gonna miss Modelhaus as I got the '57 Olds 98 hardtop kit today with the connie kit as well.
  7. The Cedarville Show was good today, a little shy on vendors but there was a line of guys waiting to enter the model car contest and a lot of the entries that I saw looked really good. Lunch at Hooters afterwards was good also.
  8. I placed an order with them a month ago, and I also heard that their son might (?) be taking over the business, and Don would continue cast tires sort of like a semi-retirement job. We'll see, as I from what I just said is just rumors now. We'll have to see how things pan out. I kinda think that if Don & Carol get "swamped" with orders, they might just close the doors at anytime because the workload would be more than they can handle.
  9. is only FIVE weeks today in Waukesha, Wisconsin from 3 - 9 p.m. and the theme this year is HEMI. It's looking to be another great show this year with LOTS of models on the display tables, rock 'n roll music, club and manufacturer displays, raffle, and great camaraderie. I hope to see some of you members there.
  10. What kind of IDIOT would pull a trailer through the drive thru lane at a fast food restaurant? Probably a lazy one.
  11. I dunno, but I'd check with Competition Resins as they do a lot of drag wheels.
  12. Nice job on that build John, real nice.
  13. Great AMG meeting tonight with lots of members and a full display table. Good to see some of you there, and that paint job on that Jaguar is awesome Kennyboy.
  14. Welcome to the forum Rotorbolt73, as this is a great place to be.
  15. Welcome Roger, as this is a great place to be.
  16. Very nice build on that Road Runner Tom, as I just love dem Mopars!
  17. Beautiful job on that Charger Bill. Yeah it must be tough parting with a labor of love. I myself don't have enough time to build for me, yet alone someone else. I just love dem Mopars!
  18. Welcome Frank as this is a great place to be. There is a model car club meeting tomorrow night (Fri. 6th) at the Waterstone Bank on 27th Street in Oak Creek from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Check it out.
  19. Cold here today, cold here tonight and then it's supposed to start warming up. Of course I was "supposed" to win the lottery too.
  20. BEAUTIFUL John, you "nailed it!"
  21. I was eyein' the new Raptor Snap kit yesterday at my LHS, but I didn't get it as I have very few kit's past the 60's in my collection. I hope to be gettin' a new 1:1 truck in the next year or so and am lookin' at Fords & Rams. I've had Chevy trucks since the late 70's and it's time for a change.
  22. Howz the gas mileage on one of those tanks?
  23. I still have my pinewood derby car from when I was a Cub Scout leader, and we held an adult class for the dads.
  24. That's good news and good luck with your new job.
