  1. I just put my packages of Evergreen plastic in a desk drawer and that way they don't take up any bench space or collect dust if I don't use any for a few months. I do use my desk for other things besides model building.
  2. The new movie Furious 7 is due to be in theaters on April 3rd.
  3. I thought that you just got your Grand Caravan fixed up, no?
  4. I've been using regular light tan colored 3M masking tape for my mock ups lately, and it seems to work for me.
  5. Congrats Rich, as you are "livin' the dream."
  6. Rode your bumper for a quarter mile? What was your ET? LOL!
  7. A 1960 Chevrolet El Camino body to use with the '59 Elky kit.
  8. That I woke up feelin' pretty good today, and not crabby like I was yesterday.
  9. Steven, that Ford build is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. Absolutely "stunning!"
  10. I heard that guys insert a rod inside the tubing before making the bend, and this should prevent the tubing from kinking. The rod should be pretty much the same size of the I.D. (inner diameter) of the tubing. Then after you make your bend, you remove the rod. I hope this helps.
  11. Congrats and good luck to both of you. In the meantime your model kits will only get older.
  12. I hope to see some of you guys at the Cedarville Show this Sunday.
  13. You might have to move again to find a model car club that would be close to you? You can always check other model car forums to see if there are any clubs near you and hopefully you'll find one. An hours drive to a club meeting is not a lot. Good luck.
  14. That's the FIRST thing I would do, is to try another nozzle or two. Usually that works.
  15. I have curio cabinets in both the living room and the family room to display my models and die-casts. So a little dust gets in there once in awhile, who cares?
  16. The show is NEXT Sunday the 8th, and looks to be a good one. I'm lookin' forward to it.
  17. Live for TODAY, and tomorrow will take care of itself.
  18. I just saw one for sale today for $70.
  19. What pleased me today was picking up a friend and heading out to our monthly model car club meeting. A great time as our club projects (gassers) were due today and filled the display table, we had great food & snacks, and the camaraderie is always good also. One of the guys even brought a "test shot" of the upcoming '65 Satellite kit for us to check out. Nice, real nice!
  20. With a binder, you can just turn the pages like a book and see all your decals.
  21. I do hope that things improve for you Jonathan.
  22. The two headlamp grille was for cars with the HEMI.
  23. Any of you guys goin' to Cedarville on March 8th? A lot of vendors there and a really nice model car contest as well.
  24. The Cedarville Model Car Swap Meet and Contest is March 8th from 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Jane Adams Community Center at 430 W. Washington in Cedarville Illinois. Lots of vendors and a really nice model car contest as well. There will be food available also.
