  1. As even more DUMB drivers take to the streets year after year, our government and the auto makers feel that more safety features need to be added to the new cars currently being produced. They somehow overlook the fact that no matter how safe they make todays vehicles, it's not going to compensate for the stupidity of the drivers behind the steering wheels.
  2. Love your dragster builds, as I use to love watchin' them run down the strip in the mid-late 60's. Thanks!
  3. What pleased me today was going to dinner with my better half and eating at Portillo's. The dogs, burgers, fries, and pop was great!
  4. Bill, while the F & F movies may never be academy award winners, they do make MONEY and that is the bottom line.
  5. It was good to see a lot of you members at the AMG meeting last night, and it seems that everyone is "gearing up" for our big event next week, the Milwaukee NNL of course. Always a good time at the meetings.
  6. Welcome to the forum Charles as this is a great place to be. Perhaps you'd like to drive up to the Milwaukee area next Saturday for the Milwaukee NNL. Lots of model cars on display (700, 800. 900?), rock 'n roll music, raffle, club and mfg. displays also. Check in Contest & Shows.
  7. ONLY ONE more week 'til the Milwaukee NNL 23. The event was discussed at our monthly club meeting last night and the event is lookin' real good as always.
  8. I saw some Round 2 re-issues at the LHS last night like the '32 Vicky, and a few others. I also saw "test shots" of the '65 Satellite and '61 Catalina kits at our club meeting.
  9. Gee, and here I thought that it was HIS car and HIS choice???
  10. I've got good results with just spraying Tamiya, Model Master, MCW, Dupli-Color, and Black Gold right from the can. Just "shake and squirt." No mixing, no water traps, no adjusting pressure or spray pattern, no noisy compressor, and NO clean up.
  11. Wow 1pages of discussion on an model kit that's not even on the shelves yet. LOL! When it does arrive, I purchase one and just put it on the "pile" without even opening it to check out the contents, as it's just another model car kit.
  12. Really nice job on that Chevy gasser Jon, real nice!
  13. I'll have to look for the contest issue when I go to the hobby shop this week, as they carry it.
  14. I would try the Micro-Sol.
  15. Can't blame your mom for that one, dad shoulda cleaned and rebuilt the carb before putting it in the cabinet.
  16. I picked up six more pieces of Lionel 10" straight track today at my LHS. If they would've given me 20% off instead of only 10% I probably would've picked up the other 24 sections that I need.
  17. Real nice job on that Deuce, but it would run as an altered and not a gasser.
  18. Although I don't think that I ever had a TKM body, I knew from the 70's that they were pure "garbage" as that was the word out on the street.
  19. Yeah it is Richard, way better in my opinion.
  20. Lookin' good Blair, real good!
  21. The union has been good to me and my family as well.
  22. We have someone who lives down the street from us, that does window tinting on cars & trucks all the time from his garage.
  23. Years ago, I was walking around this small lake and casting (fishing) here and there hoping for a bite. Everywhere I went, there was garbage along the shoreline and it was disgusting to see what lazy slobs can do to our beautiful country. Keep America Beautiful is passé I'm sorry to say.
