  1. I know what you mean Ace, as this keyboard is "HABIT forming."
  2. As the car show/cruise night season is winding down, I went to a cruise night tonight and it was "packed." Probably 'cause it was a great night, and the last cruise at this location until next May. It was great seeing friends, that I probably won't see again 'til next spring.
  3. There's a BIG difference between racing and football. In fact racing takes two balls.
  4. It's "just racing."
  5. Hmmmmmm, I have 'bout 40 plates hanging in the garage and I already have a Michigan plate. But if others want to join in, I'd be interested in a "plate swap."
  6. I pull the tape through the slot in the hardware and fold it over. I then stick it on a piece of wax paper and brush paint the tape(topside) the color I want my belt. After it dries, I stick the belt and hardware on the seat and put a SMALL dot of epoxy glue underneath the hardware and also on the end of the belt which usually can't be seen. I find this method works pretty good for me without getting too finicky.
  7. On a "fixed income" I have to mow my own grass.
  8. Illegal immigrants are CRIMINALS, and should be treated as such.
  9. And here I thought that being "married" was a stress test, no?
  10. Congrats Chris, that's a great milestone.
  11. You're not thinking 'bout trading in your '67 Impala for one of those, are you Harry?
  12. Hey Kerry, I stopped by Gus's this afternoon for a bit and was hopin' to see you there. I then stopped at the local Dog 'N Suds on the way home as well. Summer is windin' down my friend. I think our summers should be a month longer and of course the winters a month shorter, no? LOL!
  13. As the car shows/cruise nights are winding down around here, I was able to do two cruise nights tonight and had a great time. Also put in a bit of "bench time" this afternoon.
  14. Great paint and chrome, as I can attest to that.
  15. JoHan's Sox & Martin '71 'Cuda Pro-Stock kit.
  16. For those of you who remember, that's why I like to use the old SHABO stand. I've had it for years and it works just like new, only with some paint on it.
  17. Very nice job on that "Bee" and of course I just love dem Mopars!
  18. Really nice job on that Rebel as I just saw one built up at our club meeting last night. However, it didn't look nearly as nice as yours. Great job!
  19. Lookin' good Ken. I just found an early issue (1994) of the Beatnik Bandit in my "stash."
  20. If you check out some of the old drag racing photos, you will see how much the Monogram Slingshot and Long John dragsters look like them. And as stated above, the Slingshot is like the Cook & Bedwell dragster.
  21. I got to work on my models a bit this afternoon, and then went to a model car club meeting.
  22. I heard about his accident yesterday Kerry, and sent a card in the mail to him this morning. That is BAD news my friend.
  23. Curtis, Is America asleep? No everything is just fine. We have Homeland Security, yet people are coming across our borders in droves. Where's the SECURITY?
  24. TODAY would be a good day to fly your flag, and let us always remember this tragic day. Wake up AMERICA!
  25. There's a S.L.A.M. meeting in Delavan tomorrow (Thurs.) from 6 - 9 p.m.
