  1. Congrats to you and your wife Andy and good luck.
  2. We had that last winter Craig, are you sure that you were lookin' on the right page??? Besides, I'm not a farmer.
  3. Clay, someone's ALWAYS gonna knock one thing or another as it's a given. As far as trucks go, I used to build model trucks (big rigs) in the 70's and even subscribed to Overdrive Magazine to get a better insight to the truckin' industry. Yes, all that chrome and lights on a big rig is cool to me and shows pride of ownership, just like a guy adding different wheels, exhaust, engine dress up or modifications to his daily driver or collector car. So relax and enjoy the trucks, as there will always be someone bashing this or that.
  4. Good job Greg, as I didn't know that you were that creative.
  5. I start to get ready for winter in November, so don't "rush" things. I'm lookin' for 'bout 6+ weeks of nice weather and maybe more as I've driven my ride in December already also.
  6. What irked me today was that I woke up at 8 a.m. and my newspaper wasn't in my driveway. I had to call and report it. When I get the next monthly bill for the subscription service, I'm gonna do a "Trump" and fire them. What really "irked me" with them as I was gone for 11 dayson vacation and canceled the paper for those days, and they delivered the paper on eight of those days. It's a good thing that my daughter stopped by the house a few times and picked up the papers off the driveway.
  7. Congrats and good luck on your new job Rob. No drama? Just wait. LOL!
  8. Very nice lookin' "Bee" Fred, as I had owned one back-in-the-day, and I just love dem Mopars!
  9. You just need to spray a light coat of clear along the tape edges, so that if there's any bleed through it would be clear. 20 minutes later you can spray your second color. I would wait 'bout a week after I shoot the first color to do this so your tape doesn't pull off any of your first color. I always use regular 3M brown (tan) masking tape with good results.
  10. That's what I've always said Carl, one can't go any faster than the car in front of them no matter what the speed limit is. Of course I've had a guy pass me by driving on the shoulder of the road. He must have been in a hurry to go to work. LOL! I was never in a hurry to get to work, only to go home.
  11. You need to get out more Harry, before you start banging your head against the walls.
  12. Great pics Gerry, and NO new 'Vettes, Camaros, Mustangs, or Challengers, makes it even better. Thanks!
  13. It's gonna be hot & humid tomorrow too.
  14. Looks good, I see a lot of items missing from your website, what's up with that? Thanks.
  15. In the mid-70's here and we got a good downpour of rain this afternoon for a half an hour or so, and now it's just a steady drizzle.
  16. That's a really nice Coronet body Steve as I have one built that I did back in the early 70's and it's still intact. I recently picked up the '68 Coronet from Modelhaus and hopefully I'll build that one someday as well.
  17. ALL the '70 Challengers had air, just roll down the windows and step on the gas!
  18. Yes, thanks for the update as I really don't need anymore kits. However the'65 Satellite has me droolin' and I will be pickin' some of those kits up as I won't be able to resist not buying them. Hopefully the Satellite will make it to my bench soon, and not just on the "pile."
  19. Paints by Bob has LOTS of pearls, metallic, candies, etc. Check him out as he always has paint in stock and is a good guy to deal with.
  20. Good score, as I just sold a '59 Imperial kit last year from my stash.
  21. It also floods in the Las Vegas area as well. Either the ground is too dry to absorb the rain or the sewer system is inadequate, or both.
  22. What a great project you're doing Tom as I've seen the Voodoo Creeper 1:1 many times and have known "Voodoo Larry" Grobe since the 70's when we were in the same model car club together. I hear that he still builds model sometimes. With the way you pay attention to detail, I'm sure that your Creeper is goin' to be awesome!
  23. Box art looks great, but I won't be buying any truck kits and I'm scaling back on buying most of the new car kits and re-issues that are coming out as well. Seems like I already have plenty of ca$h tied up in plastic kits, and I really need to "build more & buy less."
  24. Yesterday while I was driving toward a local "cruise night," the car ahead of me braked and slowed down at an intersection and nobody was in front of him. The light was GREEN! Are these people total morons or what???
