Another good meeting in Oak Creek tonight. It was good to see everybody including Kerry, Kennyboy, Don, Ben, and the rest of the gang. Always a great time for me at those meetings and well worth the "ride."

Just send the kit to me Casey and be "done" with it. I like the LRW/Coca Cola kits for parts, as I already have a die-cast LRW.

Just because a half dozen people complain about a mistake, doesn't mean that Round 2, Revell, or anybody else is going to fix it.

When we picked out our "new home" years ago, I immediately picked out one of the bedrooms for a hobby room/den so I have a place to work on my models, read, pay bills, watch TV, etc. It still works for me today. In fact I just redid the décor in this room this past spring, new color on the walls, new carpeting, relocated several pictures & posters on the wall, etc. Sounds ideal? For the most part it is, but I STILL need motivation from time to time. I keep up with the yard work, and the snow plowing and have outside interest besides model car building. After a pretty busy summer, I've just started building again this week, and even stopped at my LHS today for some supplies, and another hobby shop tomorrow as well. My motivation comes and goes, and I really could "pick up the pace" on my model building if I would spend LESS time on this keyboard.

The number of contractor (siding/roofing) that have been in the neighborhood this summer trying to get homeowners to have a free(?)inspection, and put in a claim with their insurance company for a new roof and siding. It's getting old.

Hmmmmm, while I don't have the AMT kit, the Revell Pro-Modeler Daytona has both the 440 and the hemi engines.

Mike, I've been on this forum for awhile now and fail to see all the bickering, hate, un-constructive criticism, and bashing as you've described. Sure there was some in the past, but I think that it's pretty much taken care of now. This forum is pretty much like an ipod, TV, or radio, as you can always turn it off if it bother you that much. I honestly think that there are a pretty good bunch of guys on this forum, and very helpful as well.

No Craig a lot of guys me included, buy new or used pick ups and fix them to the way we want them. Bed-liner, tonneau covers, fog lights, graphics, etc. I need to use my brand new truck for work when I bought it, so I immediately had to have a bed liner, as the company gave me compensation for me using my truck.

You could also send it to me as I've got plenty to trade for it.

What pleased me today was having my grandson's very first birthday party at our house. It was a lot of work for my better half & I, and we had a "full house" as well, but it was very rewarding to see our grandson have a face full of cake. LOL!

I'll pass on that, as I've been to one of their Super Sunday Sales before and it was a "zoo."

Newspapers, yes I still enjoy reading the daily newspaper along with my coffee in the morning, as there is more to life than a screen.

Just curious as I own a few Danbury Mints myself, why would anybody take the wheels and tires off these fine die-cast cars?

STILL irked as it's after 8 a.m. and my morning paper has not been delivered as yet. Looks like I'll be changin' papers soon, or doing without one, we'll see.

That's funny Tom, as I've never had a broken down vehicle please me. So when your vehicle is in good shape and runnnin' well, you're irked?
