  1. Nice job on that "goat!"
  2. I'm surprised that your post wasn't deleted as you used a bad four letter word around here, snow!
  3. Jimmy Flintstone may have a "chopped" sedan body in his lineup, you'll have to check.
  4. I know couple of ex Chicagoans that now live in the Denver area and cry whenever I mention Chicago food as they DO know what they're missing. LOL!
  5. That dio does look good and just needs a good cleaning.
  6. Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland have a couple on that order in resin and they look good as I have one in my "aftermarket" parts stash.
  7. I hafta agree with you 100% George as it would make life a LOT easier and easy is good in my book.
  8. Your L'il Mixer came out lookin' good Dan.
  9. Jack Ditmar's "Little Screamer" I remember well from may days at the drag strip back in the 60's.
  10. Now yer talkin'. 1/87th scale, is that for a model railroad?
  11. I've been using Devcon 5-Minute Epoxy for years and have no problems with it.
  12. If we don't expect much, we won't be so disappointed.
  13. Sorry to hear of the fire in your house and your loss. I know of other persons who lost kits in a fire or flooding and that's why I have a PAP (personal articles policy) to cover losses such as those. Ask your insurance agent about it as it cost you nothing to get a quote and NO I don't get a comission.
  14. Nice stash Corey and 225 kits is nothing to sneeze at as I know that I won't be finishing that many kits in my life time.
  15. I have enough trouble building for myself, let alone for someone else so I only build for me. Over the years I only remember building two models for others and they were gifts. While others build for profit and yet others buy and sell for profit, to me whatever works for them is okay.
  16. That would be a good idea if the phone booths are not hard to come by or too expensive. Right now I'm using two curio cabinets approximately 26" wide and 18" deep and 78" high and they look good enough to display in the family room as well as our living room. One case is for my built models and the other for my die-cast collection and both have enough room to add at least one more shelf if necessary. That would be a question for Clark Kent, no?
  17. I'll have to check. Let me look around and I'll get back to you. As much as I like Mopars, I kinda would like a Bugatti Veyron instead if I were ever to spend a lot of ca$h for a car.
  18. You just haven't been caught Harry.
  19. While I like using a super-fine brush, I'll have to try your way as some of the detail is way too small for a brush. Thanks.
  20. The re-issued Badman kit is out already as I picked up mine last Saturday at my LHS.
  21. I hadn't noticed as I go by whatever fits in the wheelwells or on a rod, whatever looks good. I know that it's a simple approach, but it works for me.
  22. Protection from what?
  23. Awesome job on that "Bird."
  24. I have both the Pro-Modeler '40 Ford Convertible which has custom parts including a Carson top IIR and a Dodge Daytona which is still sealed. As a matter of fact, I only open about 1/3 of my kits and it makes it easier later on if I want to sell some of them or even donate them to an NNL raffle or whatever.
