  1. Bryan, your Charger looks great in yellow and it appears to be a '67 and not a '66. The '67 Charger had fender mounted turn signal indicators where as the '66 didn't.
  2. Awesome photos of great builds Bill, thanks. If I keep lookin' at them maybe I would get motivated to finish a few projects that are on my bench.
  3. How 'bout the wheels in Revell's "Limited Edition" '68 Dodge Charger kit?
  4. Use as LITTLE primer, color coats, and clear coats as you can get away with. The more coats, the more detail is going to fade away. I use three coats of clear so I have enough to "polish out" without cutting into the color coats.
  5. Supposed to get some rain Harry? Is that like I was supposed to win the lottery last week? LOL! I hope we do, I surely hope we do as the grass is like straw like you said.
  6. Glad to hear the driver is OK and thats bad news about the Mooneyes dragster.
  7. I did and I don't feel that it's worth my money. The issues from the late 50's and the 60's take you "back in time" right down to the advertising and the products they had back then and not now anymore.
  8. at the Pontiac-Oakland Club International Convention located at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinios in Salon 5 the St. Charles Ballroom on July 19th - 21st. The 1:1 car show runs from July 17th - 21st and will feature gorgeous Pontiacs from all over the country. Hope to see you there.
  9. I myself prefer buying and reading Hot Rod issues from the 60's.
  10. Great idea and really nice job on that build!
  11. My Parts by Parks arrived in the mail today although I haven't had time to check them out as yet.
  12. There's nothing like the aroma of good 'ol exhaust fumes.
  13. Yes I have as I just saw him the other night at a club meeting.
  14. I've been to the Volo Auto Museum many times and they have a lot of really neat cars on display as well as for sale also. They also have a great Military Museum too. From Michigan City Indiana it is a bit of a hike, say 2 1/2 -3 hours each way and I don't know if would be worth the drive for me, however it may be worth it to you and it depends on the individual.
  15. Your GTX is lookin' good so far. I have one started and I'm using the hemi from the Dart kit and the 727 trans is a resin piece.
  16. Art is right about sanding the candy color and changing the shade of the color by doing so. Some guys use too many coats of candy paint and then the base coat doesn't show through and it really doesn't look like a candy color any more. So go easy on the number of candy coats for a great look.
  17. What Lee said as painting the chrome trim went out with the arrival of BMF and it's kinda like still using a rotary phone nowdays. PASSE
  18. I can always build Indy car kits and then not have to worry about door handles and wiper blades.
  19. New kits? It takes me forever to get a kit out of my stash, build it, and put it on the shelf. So I'm not in ANY hurry for any new kits to hit the shelves as they'll only get thrown on the "pile."
