  1. While I've always pictured the '67 Cyclone as a drag racer, you've done a great job making yours into a street (?) custom. Nice!
  2. The new one is molded in yellow also as stated on the box. I haven't opened mine as yet that I picked up the other day but It should be an exact re-issue of the previous kit.
  3. That's what it's ALL about, F U N !
  4. Revell lists the engine as a 283 cu. in. motor even though the decals say 396.
  5. PM me as I have a sealed one available.
  6. Nice paint & decals as your build is lookin' good so far.
  7. Nice job on that "Mixer" and does it make cocktails? I just finished the L'il Gasser last month.
  8. Yes I like the M.A.D. products and have a few in stock for future builds.
  9. I'll have to get me one as I love those FED's from the 60's. I used to be a young American once but I've aged a few years since then.
  10. I still see those kits around here in th $20-$25 dollar range.
  11. I like that traditional rod and hope that you post a pic when it is painted. I believe you can get a "chopped" A body from Jimmy Flintstone.
  12. Wait for a kit? I don't wait for any kit whether I've ordered it or it's soon to be released as I have PLENTY of other kits to work on.
  13. I don't think that it's possible to find pizza, hot dogs, Italian beef and also combo sandwhiches better than here in the Chicagoland area. I've been eating that stuff for many years and it sure tastes good even though it may not be good for you. Of coursr a person can eat healthy or eat junk and the bottom line is that they're still going to die eventually.
  14. Why Harry, what ever gave you an idea like that???? LOL!!!!
  15. Nice build on that Mopar as I have one sittin' on my shelf also. If I get around to doin' another one I'm gooing to raise the ride height a bit all around so it looks a little more agressive.
  16. VERY nice job on that Daytona.
  17. I was at Toledo last year for the NNL & Swap Meet and was surprised to see the lack of vendors. Due to modern technology vendors can sell their stuff on EVIL-bay and avoid the expense of fuel, motels, food, and tables. Back in 2000 & 2001 at the swap meet I thought that it was "Christmas" as their were kits, parts, decals, etc. everywhere. It was awesome.
  18. I don't think that $13.99 is the right price and you got a real good bargin.
  19. Nice builds and the Blue Angels will be showing off their skills this weekend at the Chicago Air & Water Show.
  20. Back in the mid 60's those rails would smoke the slicks all the way down the quarter mile. What an awesome sight!
  21. I just got a Poncho from MCW in the mail this week and it looks great. Although not the Catalina, it is the '63 Tempest 421 SD 2-dr Coupe.
  22. Wow, when I was a kid? That was SO long ago I really don't remember. Probably on the kitchen table. I have worked on the dining room table also and I spray paint anywhere I want as I don't have a paint booth as yet.
