I have multiples of woody kits, The AMT/MPC 29, the Revell 30, the AMT 41 and the Revell 48 and intend to have multiple of the new Merc as well. I also have multiple different Model A and 32 kits.
Yeah, the wife and I spent over 2&1/2 hours out clearing snow today. That included trying to pull some off the roof with the roof rake. People say it's like the old winters we used to have. Yippee! I prefer the new fangled winters we were having where the Toro went through maybe 1 tank of gas. It quit on me today because it ran out of gas. I didn't think I had used it that much to need yet another refill. About the 4th time filling it so far this winter and it's only January 1st!
I have to admit those Rocket Bunnies look way cool but since I haven't seen them (in person) nor have I been in the presence of the 49 Merc Woody or the Sizzler yet, I would have to vote for the 50 Olds or the 57 Ford (or does that belong in 2012?).
Yeah, Charlie, I was thinking the same thing. I'll be ordering the Olds wagon soon now Kevin comes along with this. Maybe I can wait til NNL East to pick this vert up.... Looks great, Kevin!
That's all right, Al. I've been thinking the same thing since this kit was announced. The Aurora Mod Squad Woody that I built as a kid is on display in my cabinet. I've taken it too many places and lost the front bumper but the rest is all there. I think it's what started my love of woodies. Can't wait for this kit and is one of the few times I can say with certainty I will buy multiple copies of.
Do you have any friends with american postal boxes? Otherwise we're kind of out of luck. Elm City Hobbies carries Scalfinishes paints but I doubt this sale applies there.
Well living on the south shore of Georgian Bay, we've been hammered in the past week. Went from virtually no snow to over 2 feet in less than 3 days. Been quite intimate with the snowblower and snow shovel lately...
