  1. Oooohhhh! No! I forgot I needed to know the year. Don't know why but what it is popped right into my mind. Was thrilled when I double checked to find I was right. Maybe Harry can give an Atta Boy! for getting 2 out 3 right.
  2. Sweet Olds! Nice clean updated build.
  3. That is a fantastic build, Kenn! It's one sweet little MG.
  4. Or it was shipped to a distribution center in Toronto then shipped out west again. That would be typical post office.

    Chevy Surfer

Love seeing those Chevy kits built up. It does make for a great Surf Wagon.
  6. That is a sharp little Mercedes. I'm glad the fellows talk you into sharing it with us.
  7. Looks good to me, Ben. BMF looks good on it and the weathering is subtle. Job well done.
  8. Very nice mild custom Olds! I also like the paint finish on it.

  11. Welcome, Oscar. As you said, lots of good information here. Jump in & enjoy. It's a great hobby.
  12. I have to remember this line the next time my wife asks about a flea market purchase. Thanks Geoff! (Nice purchase by the way.)
  13. I received 2 sets from them. One set was in good shape but the other the whitewalls on 2 of the tires are damaged. I think I can touch them up. I appreciate Revell coming through on this for us.
  14. Oh, Kris! I know where some of my NNL East money will be going!
  15. Well, I got to meet Nick today. Great meeting you Nick! Also picked up a Tamiya Ford Focus Rally Car and a set of AMT M&H slicks.
  16. True, but what Jerry is saying is that if you use the Humbrol satin it seals it without being shiny and the part can be handled. Good tip.
  17. Great modified builds there, Mike! There's only one problem though.....they're too clean.

    '36 Ford

Very cool 36 Ford custom! Very well done.
  19. Indeed the HeritageCon 7 at The Warplane Heriatge Museum is a great contest. Keep in mind it is an IPMS type event so there are all types of models, sci-fi, armor, planes etc. Good mix of vendors too. Of course that's assuming you stop looking at the real planes long enough to check out the contest.
  20. Wow! That's just plain gorgeous, Jason! Great work!
  21. Very interesting info, Pat. I have some of the pearl-ex and was wondering how to work with it. Thanks for providing this tutorial.
  22. Indeed, Threw my back out shovelling yesterday. Thank goodness for Robax. 54 now. Remember 54 now. Ow!
  23. Happy Birthday Doctor Cranky! Hope you have a good one.Probably spending the day making more eye candy eh? Well, I have a week and 3 years on you as I turned 54 last week.
  24. I spend way too much time looking at everybody else's build here on the computer instead of getting out to the shop and working on my own models.
  25. Thanks, Glenn, I appreciate the info. Your first test sure makes them look good. I'll keep an eye out for these.
