  1. Sorry for quoting the whole pic but was unsure how to cut it down. Anyway, what's the story on the Testor's Aztek Pearls? I've never seen Testors bottles like that before. Any info?
  2. I would be interested in the vintage stuff as well. There has been a need for awhile, well, basically since the roadster kit first came out.
  3. Very, very cool! My Dad was a Mosquito fan. I have the Tamiya kit here to be built some day. Thanks for sharing.
  4. Good start! Like you said the video quality is not the best but it's all a learning experience. Congrats and keep going.
  5. It's funny you say that, Chuck, as I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder as my reaction is that it looks dumpy (or flabbier) than the current model. I think the C6 looks meaner and more purposeful. Oh well....
  6. Got mine in the mail today. Which is WAY unusual for me to get it here in the Great White North at the same time you guys are getting yours. Normally I get it about 3 weeks or so later. Anyway it's looking like a really good issue. Thanks, Gregg, Harry and contributors.
  7. Unfortunately this is not a good thing especially after all the work to get it into places like Borders (chain book stores) as I doubt they would be too happy with magazines coming in with "stale" dates. One clerk might put it on the shelf and the one coming behind him sees a December date in January and yanks right back off the shelf thinking it has expired!? Fortunately I have a subscription so I just have to sweat it out waiting for it to arrive in the mail and hope I don't have to phone Denver Bell like I did twice last year.
  8. Welcome to the forum, Ray Hope you enjoy your stay. Lots of great model building being done.
  9. Welcome, Joe. Lots of good info available here. Look forward to seeing your builds. Nice to have another body from Ontario here. There's a few of us hanging around.
  10. Welcome, James. Sounds like you have your hands full. Build when you can and visit here often. Lots going on and lots of good info. Look forward to building with your son when he gets older.
  11. Looks real good, Cliff. I really like the red & black colour scheme.
  12. They look like great builds. I think he is going to give his "old man" a run for his money in the future.
  13. That Mustang racer is real slick! You did a great job on it.
  14. Welcome to the board! Tamiya does make some great kits. I look forward to seeing some pics of your builds.
  15. Welcome to the board, Brian. Sounds like some interesting projects. The Lemans pit stop dio sounds really interesting. Look forward to seeing pics of it.
  16. That's a sweet pair of C5r's! Love the racing vettes. Great job on them.
  17. Very nice little Honda, Dominik! Nice to see the Fujimi version built up as usually just see the Tamiya version. Anyway, great job on the build.

    Cheetah #6

Sweet Cheetah! Very nicely done. Such a cool car.
  19. Merry "A" Christmas from our family to yours. All the best for Christmas and a Happy and healthy New Year.
  20. As strange as it may sound we buy our own gifts and hand them over during the course of the year. We each have our own hobbies and it just works that way. I tend to forget what I've handed over so when they show up under the tree, for something to open on Christmas morning, I still end up surprised.... somewhat anyway. Why get stuff we don't need just to say you bought presents?
  21. C'est fantastique, Jean-Jaques! Really cool build. Excellent blending of all the elements to create this model. Bravo! Long live longroofs!
  22. Looks like a really clean build. The colour looks real good on it too. Congrats!
  23. Very cool builds. Love the McLaren's. Looks like your tricks worked really well.
  24. Check scalefinishes.com. I'm sure he could set you up with what you need.
  25. Looks absolutely EVIL! I mean that in the best way. Beautiful build of an awsome looking car.
