  1. That is a super sharp little racin' Ferrari! Nice save on that one.
  2. I love it! It's such a simple concept yet it's so different. To me it certainly has a gotcha factor. Would love to take that one for a brisk drive! Thanks for posting more pics of it Bob.
  3. I have to second this sentiment. It is a really cool concept and it turned out beautifully. Would also love to see more pics of it.
  4. That's a nice clean build of an all time great F1 car! Great build Curt!
  5. That's great! Especially when it's free! I'm excited as I just got issue 157 in the mail today. Great contest issue.
  6. Somehow I can just picture Dr Cranky's head on that spider.... and I honestly mean that in the nicest possible way.
  7. Hey! Thanks Jordan! I always wondered why that little red x kept floating around on each thread line. You learn something new every day.
  8. Andy, That turned out really clean for the first build in 10 years. Job well done!
  9. That is really cool Dr Cranky. AK Interactive is really big in the armor crowd. It's a great associtation for you to have and it will introduce us to a whole new line of products for weathering our vehicles. As much as we like this place maybe you could check out Scale Model addict. They like videos over there. Phat Pete tottering off to bed now.
  10. Ben, I would assume if any are made they will come from diecast companies like Danbury etc. The Aston could be done with the old Aurora/ Monogram kits (maybe).
  11. I get it! Dr. Cranky and Harry are forming a band! And I agree George, the older I get the crankier I get!
  12. Dr. Cranky....sometimes you're just plain scary! However that's just the type of thing that will keep us "tuned in".
  13. Your hair got wet?
  14. Man I'm torn! I want to say real but another part of me is saying model. Maybe I should say it's a real model...
  15. This is a great project! The colour should make it a bit of a wolf in sheep's clothing. My mind was envisioning red, I guess related to Ferrari but also due to the red Focus wagon sitting in my driveway....
  16. I guess I will never make a great modeller. I keep staring at the comparisson pictures Harry posted and I can't see the problems. The only thing I can see is the front bumper being off. The roof, sides and grille all look the same to me. I've stared at it and stared at it and I don't see the problems. I guess not having binocular vision doesn't help...
  17. More NNL East pics. Through sun, rain, sleet, snow, being lost (despite making the trip a few times before) turning left on a red light , a flooding parking lot and finally driving through a flying 4X8 sheet of plastic, I'm happy to be able to bring you pics from NNL East. Covered 2035 kms (1265 miles) and 23 hrs of driving time. (I must love this hobby...) It was a great time spent with good friends. I was thrilled to meet Ken Hamilton. I also enjoyed having a few minutes to chat with many of the after market vendors including Jeff Ballard and Kris Morgan, Don and Carol Holthaus, Norm and Mary Veber, Daniel Gailloux, RMR resins, KDog and his wife from Bandit Resinsand many more. Sorry I missed talking to many of the rest of you who were present. I know there was a Facebook friends photo but did I miss Spotlight and MCM photos? NNL East 2011
  18. I did pick one of these up at NNL East. It is a really sweet piece. You would swear that it was a plastic model kit body and parts. Great resin caster to deal with. Many Thanks Jeff!
  19. Boy Jeff, I hope you have some of these cast for NNL East!!!???!!!
  20. By this time next week, the money will be spent, the photographs taken and the bench racing finished.... I can hardly wait! Look forward to seeing many of you there!
  21. Matt that is a fantastic build! This car is on my must have list. I only hope I can do as good a job as you have with it.
  22. Batman, your new Ferrari is ready! That is one mean looking machine Curt. Job well done.
  23. Wow! That's your first build in that long? Wow! Great work! Makes me afraid to go back to the bench. You are to be commended for the patience to pull that off on your first build in a long time. Again Kudos!
  24. Daniel: Love the Bug tuner! Slick and the wheels really set it off. That is very well done.
  25. I like it! A nice simple concept and a great build. Well done.
